mother and her child are the

demic and lockdown took a
toll on everyone, physically, mentally
and emotionally. On the occasion of
Women’s Day, the Interact Club of Di-
amond Jubilee High School for Girls
organised Mother-Daughter Bonding
sessions.
These fun-filled shared activities
were organised with the help of the
Rotary Club of Bombay Metropolitan
and conducted by Rotarian Abeda
Karachiwala, who is a Yoga therapist
and practitioner.
The sessions were attended by the
students of Grade 4 along with their
mothers. The resource person got the
students and their mothers involved
in a variety of activities based on good
posture, exercises for the back, and
breathing exercises, interestingly ti-
tled ‘Lion and Rainbow Breathing’.
A variety of physical exercises,
which were done very enthusiastical-
ly, added to the fun.
A question-answer session at the
end of the programme ensured that
all queries were resolved. The relaxed

and daughters present were clear ev-
