of juice/buttermilk. On April 7, the
World Health Organization (WHO)
promotes and celebrates the un-
equalled worth of good health. Phys-
ical, mental, and emotional well-be-
ing are promoted and celebrated all
around the world on this day.
To commemorate this day, Na-
tional Model Family organised a
health and hygiene session for chil-
dren in grades III, IV, and V, which
was addressed by Dr Tulya Mo-
handas, Head of the Department of
General Medicine and Vice-Princi-
pal of Ayurveda Medical College,
Coimbatore. Over 400 young minds
were enlightened as a result of this
gathering. She began the pro-
gramme by reminding the students
of fundamental hygiene standards
and then provided them with nu-
merous ways for instilling a healthy
lifestyle.
Among them were breathing ex-
ercises, meditation, and the value
of discipline in life. She emphasised
the need for ghee in our daily diets,
the importance of proteins, fibre,
and vitamins, the importance of wa-
ter in our bodies, and the impor-
tance of avoiding junk foods. As a
result, our school makes every ef-
fort to raise awareness among the
young masters about the impor-
tance of taking care of their bod-
ies and minds.
