There is a common problem with your writings; you often miss the point of the question.

For example, you needed to write a review. There is too little of your personal evaluation, and too much synopsis.

Also, you must improve your grammar; the tenses often changed between past and present without time markers.

Soukaïna Laaouina One of the book that help me much to know about myself and to

change it in order to avoid a lot of problems in the future that can ruin my life. It was ''

La parure '' written by one of the famous novelist in France called '' Guy de

Maupassant ''. The whole book is about a married couple. The man is an employee in

the ministry of education, had a modest salary and his wife is just a housewife. Even if

his man was working all the days trying to gain more money, his wife wasn't satisfied

of their situation, especially that her best friend was to rich, and had a lot of necklaces

which make her nervous not being rich like her. One day, the couple was invited to go

to a party organized at the house of the minister. So, his wife instead of being

happy, she started crynot finding what to wear for such sophisticated party. The

solution was to take one of the friend's necklaces to seem rich like others woman. Due

to bad chance, the necklace dissapears during the ceremony. So, the couple started

work more and more to buy an other necklace, but, finally, they discovered that it was

fake. I like this book a lot because women give a big value to appearances, trying to be

the most beautiful, the most richx the most fashionest even if it is not real, spending

their life in stuffy things without trying to build a strong personality that make the

person believe in what he has without comparison to others. Each one has his qualities

and flaws, so what we have is just improving ourselves.

Nicely done, and quite well-written - but there is a common problem with your writings; you often miss the point of
the question. For example, you needed to write a review. There is too little of your personal evaluation, and too

Mariya Sbai "The portrait of Dorian Gray" is a philosophical

novel written by Oscar Wilde in 1893. Themes of beauty, art,
youth and life lessons are noticed all along the book pages.
The story is about the way Dorian Gray, a handsome young
man, easily turned into a cruel character. It all started when
Dorian first met Lord Henry, whose influence led the innocent
beautiful soul to lose all humanity. In fact, Dorian felt an
extreme jealousy of his portrait done by his friend, Basil
Hallwards. The thing is, Dorian made an insane wish that
consisted on staying forever young while the portrait would
get old and ugly as long as time passes. Miraculously, it
happened. The more Dorian would be cruel, the more the
portrait would get uglier. Gray lost his lover, Sibyl Vane, as
well as his close friend, Basil Hallwards, and basically felt
nothing about it, and that was the point of writing this book.

Actually, the story reflects the way people change and focus
on temporary qualities instead of things lasting forever. After
all, beauty fades, purity remains.

Over all, this book's reading is enjoyable. I highly recommend

it for lovers of philosophical thoughts.
