THE PURPOSE OF LIFE – REFLECTION PAPER

Life is the most precious gift that people have received in this world.
There is only one way for humans to be born, but there are countless
ways to vanquish our enchanted souls. Nonetheless, there is only one
question that lies deep beneath our curious wisdoms— what is the true
purpose of life? Are humans created because they are bound to
accomplish their created concept of responsibility? Or is the fulfilment of
our avid delight and ardent zeal the very essence of our creation? In this
essay, I will bring you the gist and key of my reflection on what is really
the true philosophy of life and existence.

One can exist while not living but one cannot live without existing. The
story centralizes on life as the embodiment of uncertainty and fickleness,
where there is no goal to begin with, because life itself is the core
paramount of existence to humans. I personally believe that life is the
intricate fusion of invention and discovery to us, where ambivalence and
vagueness are something we strenuously try to discover, but soon create
something to conform with our limited self-created concept of satisfaction
like boundaries, preciseness, periphery, and certainty. I also believe in
the Latin maxim of “vivamus, moriendum est” which means “let us live,
since we must die”. With this maxim, I do affirm with the thought that
we should live our life to its greatest extent, because the hands of time
are the perfect allegory of the reminder that we will all perish and die.

To finish, life is about living today as if you cannot live tomorrow. Our
existence was meant to be the manifestation of our own journey and not
the glorification of our limited definition of results. It is the spontaneity

 and extempore in life that ignites the thrill of existing. The only thing that
can exist equally is the unequal reality of life, so you must strive to learn
while surviving the wonders of this world. There is no goal, but there is
process; and that process is the realization of the goal, because learning
and enjoying the voyage is the prime resolve and the true purpose of life.
