GUIDELINES FOR THE PREPARATION PROJECT REPORT

FOR BSC/BCA
The project report should contain the detailed description of the project work with its methodology and
techniques applied
1. Text size should be Times New Roman font with size 12
2. Paper size should be A4 and Line spacing should be 1.5
3. Chapter heading size should be 16 and subheading size 14 in Times New Roman
4. Subheadings should be numbered with the chapter number. Eg. 1.1, 1.1.1 etc.. for subheadings in
chapter 1.
5. Page should be numbered bottom centered
6. Tables and figures should contain titles and numbers
7. Binding should be Calico/Soft binding
8. Binding colour should be BLACK. Color printing is not allowed for the text but can be for pictures
9. References should shown in the following format
a. Text book – Author, Title, publisher, edition, year
b. Journal – Author, title, publisher, edition, page numbers referred, year
c. Website – http://www.yyyy.yyy

10. Order of the project report must be as follows

a. Front page
b. Acknowledgement
c. Certificate of the Project guide/Coordinator
d. Contents
e. synopsis
f. Main report
