 Smt. Rama Sharma, Public Relation Officer shall directly deal with and dispose
the case pertaining to the affiliation branch. She will be assisted by the RTI cell of
affiliation branch.

Applicants can send their RTI applications directly to PIO or through CPIO
alongwith the requisite fee of Rs 10/- by favoring a Demand Draft / IPO in name of
“Secretary, CBSE”. In case no information is received by the applicant within 30 days of
the receipt of letter by CBSE, they can submit an appeal to the Appellate authority as
listed above.

PIOs and Appellate authorities should ensure that in no case information sought
under RTI Act is delayed beyond stipulated period.

In the absence of Smt Rama Sharma, PRO Joint Secretary (A&L) will perform the
duties of Central Public Information Officer (CPIO).
