Interested eligible bidders may download the set of bidding documents and formats
given as Annexures etc. from our website: www. nitw.ac.in. The payment towards the cost
of the tender documents and Security Deposit (SD) in the form of Demand Draft from any
Nationalized Bank in favour of “Director, NIT Warangal”. SD any other firm will not
be accepted. The offer without tender fee/cost and SD of documents will be rejected
summarily. No interest will be paid on the SD.

Bids to be submitted on or before 10.07.2018 at 11.00 AM and the same will be

opened on the same day i.e., 10.07.2018 at 11.30 AM in the presence of the bidders or
their authorized representatives intending to attend the opening. Any tender received later than the
time and date of receipt of the bids shall be rejected summarily.

I .This envelope must contain the following:

1. Duly filled, signed & stamped tender document.
2. Demand Draft of Rs. 590/- as cost of Tender Document
3. Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand only) Security Deposit
4. Self attested Documentary proof of registration copy
5. The financial bids (Annexure ‘A’).

II. Terms& Conditions:

1. Sealed bids are invited for disposal of Waste Paper (old newspaper/magazines and other
scrap paper) on “As is where condition” basis. Bid should be sealed in a cover duly super
scribed as Tender for disposal of Waste Paper.”
2. SD of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) to be submitted along with the tender in the
form of bank Demand draft drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Technology,
Warangal.
3. The bidders should quote their highest rates based upon the Terms and Conditions forming
part of tender document.
4. In case, the date of submission/opening of tenders happens to be holiday, the tenders shall
be received / opened on the next working day.
5. The Security Deposit (SD) of bidders, whose rates are not approved, will be returned
immediately upon finalization of the tenders. No interest will be paid on the amount of the
security deposit. However, the security deposit of the bidder, whose rates are accepted, will
be returned on completion of the entire job that the material has been received by them,
mentioning the weight of the material.
6. The right to accept a bid will rest with the National Institute of Technology, Warangal.
7. The quoted rate shall be valid for the current financial year i.e., 2018-19 as the future
papers etc. will be handed over to the same Bidder till March 2019.
8. In case, the vendor fails to comply the terms & conditions, the Institute may terminate the
contract without assigning any reason and is free to dispose of the waste paper items in such
a manner as may be deemed appropriate.
9. The successful bidder will be liable to complete the job of lifting the material from the
Institute within a period of 3 to 5 days of getting the order. If the successful bidder does not
start work in time or stops the work midway or leaves the work altogether, his Security
Deposit (SD) will be likely to be forfeited and the Institute shall have the right to cancel the
Order.
10. It will be the responsibility of the vendor to pack the material by his own labourers and the
cost towards transportation, packing, loading, unloading etc. will also be borne by the
vendor himself.

NOTE

Interested Bidders can visit the Central Library on 03.07.2018 between 11.00 AM to 01.00 PM to
Asses the material.
