Year Milestones
The first traditional imported goods store was established by the founder,
1985
Mr. Chen Jian Zao, on Ximen Road in Tainan City.
Opened the first store in Kaohsiung for the purpose of expanding the
1997
market share and operation scale of Kaohsiung Department Store.
1998 We officially adopted "POYA" as our trademark and used it as our logo.
Listed as an OTC stock in the Taiwan Exchange, it is the first large retailer in
2002
Taiwan to be listed under the "Beauty and Grocery Store" ticket.
2009 Established Taipei operation headquarters.
Announced the launch of "POYA HOME", a home living products channel,
2019
and the opening of its first store in Chaozhou, Pingtung.
In response to digital transformation, POYA Pay was officially launched as a
2021 digital payment. In addition, POYA launched its first private label product in
collaboration with TIC.
