WARMING UP- EMPHASIS ON STRENGTH AND
FLEXIBILITY DRILLS

At this age players enter the process of getting acquainted

with the term "power" as gently as possible. It is the age of
introduction to strength with exercises with body weight and
demonstration of the correct technique of exercises by the
coaches. Flexibility exercises can also be combined with
those of strength and are introduced simultaneously or
separately, mainly in the warm-up of the training.
DRILLS WITH EMPHASIS ON MAINTAIN POSSESION TACTICS

In this age group the children have been trained in almost a

ll the technical and tactical details - football habits and ar
e ready to apply them to the whole in combination
exercises and possession exercises.
The movement of the ball is done in a rational way, by
creating pass lines, by checking before the reception, with
directional slots, thus increasing the chances of success of
maintaining possession and ball movement. It is the right
age to be able to receive many stimuli simultaneously in
the environment around them, with high speed of
decision-execution, as well as high efficiency.
DRILLS WITH EMPHASIS ON GROUP TACTICS

Emphasis on group tactics means more exercises aimed at working

the whole team together. This presupposes perfect individual
defensive - offensive tactical behavior from each player individually,
as well as a good level of training in sub-teams. In this category there
are tactical goals such as game transition, build - up, development,
phase endings, game changes as well as other group tactical
behaviors that you will find below.
FINAL GAME

After the end of the exercises and the main part, there should always be
a final game that the first half of which can contain the main goal of
training and the other half to be free without restrictions and rules. This
way the players will be able to test in realistic conditions of the match
the regular elements that have been trained and apply them on the
field.

Feint - Dribble training with the objective of maintaining

possession begins with theory (explaining the importance of
dribble in this way), continues with the correct demonstration
of the technique by the coach and ends with the use of
possession exercises with isarithm or sub-number. In this way
the player finds it difficult to find a free choice and tries to
pretend and dribble the opponent to maintain possession with
his side. It is an important tactic because it reduces the chances
of error and trains the player to be able to react in cases where
he has no free choice of passes.

DRIVING WITH CHANGES IN DIRECTION

Driving with changes in direction instruction begins with theory

(explaining the importance of driving in this way), continues
with the proper demonstration of the technique by the coach
and ends with the use of exercises that will benefit the player in
both possession and attack. . The change of direction in the
driving creates preconditions for the player himself to find
additional solutions for the next action (change of game,
vertical pass), but also for the recipient of the ball who will
have time to ask and get the ball. It is also a useful tool in
maintaining possession, as when there is no option available
the player must suddenly change direction and be led to
another part of the field.

motivation and extra points to those who attempt it. This way of
marking is the basis for any subgroup or group tactical behavior.

RECEPTION WITH THE INTERIOR OF THE FOOT

The training of the reception with the interior of the foot begins with a
theory (explanation of the importance of the reception in this way),
continues with the demonstration of the correct technique by the coach
and ends with the use of exercises and games with the main purpose of
the reception with the inside of the foot, giving the player to understand
the usefulness of this type of reception. It is the most popular and
easiest way for a player to receive the ball due to the large and flat
surface of the foot. What characterizes and makes this type of reception
the most successful is the accuracy and ease of continuing the next
action.

RECEPTION WITH DIRECTION

The receive with direction training begins with a theory (explaining the
importance of reception in this way), continues with the correct
demonstration of the technique by the coach and ends with the use of
exercises and games with the main purpose of perceiving the space and the
feeling of each player around so that he knows in which direction he will
receive and advance the ball. The reception of each player depends on the
opponent, the empty space for the next action and the teammate for a
possible pass.

SHORT PASS WITH THE INTERIOR OF THE FOOT

The training of the short pass with the interior starts with a theory
(explanation of the importance of transfer in this way), continues
with the demonstration of the correct technique by the coach and
ends with the use of exercises and games with the main purpose
of repeating short passes with the interior of the foot giving more
emphasis to the accuracy of the pass and not so much to the
force. The pass with the interior is the most common way of
passing and most if not all times the passes of this type are low
and at a short distance. This type of pass facilitates the movement
of the ball and the maintenance of possession and is one of the
most important technical elements in football.

(explanation of the importance of transfer in this way), continues
with the demonstration of the correct technique by the coach and
ends with the use of exercises and games with the main purpose
of repeating short passes with the top and outside of the foot
giving more emphasis to the direct pass with speed and not so
much to its accuracy as with the inside. It is an additional option
that generally trains the player in hitting the ball with the instep
helping him to find the perfect hit.

demonstration of the correct technique by the coach and ends
with the use of exercises and games with the main attempt of
strong shooting operation aiming to achieve a goal. Because of the
speed that the ball will gain and not so much the accuracy of
the blow. It is most often used from a distance when there are
free spaces and time.

GENERAL TACTICAL OBJECTIVES AND HOW TO USE THEM

General tactical objectives cannot be determined by what% will be achieved

within a year or a month. The only sure thing is that each of these goals should
be achieved in all 3 blocks, throughout the football season. Each team and
coach has their own philosophy in football and should choose which tactical
elements to put more emphasis on. Each of the elements we have defined is
very important and should be trained daily in conjunction with the tactical
details - habits as well as the technical goal. Certainly each of them will have to
be trained more than 1 and 2 times until they create the necessary connections
and are imprinted in the kinetic memory of each player individually. There
should also be a lot of repetition of each item that has been trained and it has
been a long time since it was last introduced, so that its adjustments are not
lost.

WIDTH - DEPTH

Attacking Width and Depth creates the conditions for finding more
solutions and easier movement of the ball. As the field grows, the
defensive balance of the opponents "breaks" or changes and situation
changes are created (markings, changes of positions) that can create
problems for the opponent. Width refers mainly to the players near
the line (back and extreme) seeking to open enough to create empty
spaces in the intervals or to be able to receive the ball more easily.
The depth mainly concerns the team's forwards in order to "grow" the
field towards the opponent's home and to create additional solutions
on the axis by driving or transferring the ball. Defensive depth aims at
safe defensive behavior with proper overlap of teammates.
Offensive and Defensive Depth should be trained separately from each other.

GAME PROGRESSION

Proper game building from behind is a very important factor for teams
that want to have control of the possession and create the right
conditions for attack. The participation of GK is necessary, as when he
participates, he creates a surplus in the 1st zone and thus helps in the
easier advancement of the ball in the next zone.

TRANSITION (OFFENSIVE – DEFENSIVE)

The game transition has two phases (recovery phase and loss phase)
and are perhaps the most important pieces in modern football. The
training of the game transition and the full understanding of its
usefulness by the players themselves can make the difference
individually but mainly as a team. Individual improvement in the
transition can be made using exercises with secondary goals such as if
the ball is lost I have the right to run to regain it and not to stop.
Players who have received small individual stimuli to understand the
transition at a younger age may be ready to do so in the future as a
team.

MAINTAIN POSSESION – CIRCURATE THE BALL

Maintaining possession is one of the most important pieces in football

and enables the team that has the movement of the ball to take less
risks and to be able to attack more times. Each team with high
possession rates has spent a lot of training time in traffic games and in
regular details aimed at it such as creating a pass line, checking before
I get the ball etc.

OTHER TACTICAL PLAN

Any additional tactical goal that any coach or team deems necessary
to join the Annual Planning can be accomplished. Each team and
coach has its own logic and philosophy and it makes perfect sense to
have the need to add its own "touches" to the table.
SESSION WITHOUT TACTICAL PLAN

Some sessions may not include any tactical goals for different reasons
that concern each team individually
(Fitness training, Fitness training, etc.).
DEFINITION OF TACTICAL DETAILS - HABITS

Tactical details - habits are individual or subgroup elements that complete an

individual or subgroup action and at the same time increase the success levels
of the team’s overall tactics. If I do not look back before taking the ball I will not
be able to make the right reception, in the right place and my team will not be
able to change side as the player he had not realized that he had empty space
to the right. A simple example shows the importance of tactical details as
players with such habits embedded in their kinetic memory can make a
difference, cover errors in technical components and help their team achieve
its goals. Tactical details should be trained at the same time as the technical
details and great importance should be given from a young age as later it is
difficult to automate these movements.

CREATE A PASS LINE

Training the football habit of creating a pass line is one of the

most important details on the field and is a necessary
element for the successful achievement of a pass. The
potential recipient of the ball should learn not to hide behind
the opponent and ask for the ball (communication) only
when it has moved to a clear pass angle. In this case the
chances of error will be reduced and the conditions for the
development and progression of the game ahead will be
increased. A successful pass without creating a corner and
communication at the right timing by the potential recipient
is just a random event, unless the player is alone without an
opponent near him.

CHECK BEHIND – AROUND BEFORE RECEIVING THE
BALL

The training of the football habit "I look back & around before I
get the ball" is one of the most important details that make the
difference on the field
This ability, if it enters the player's kinetic memory, automatically
gives him the advantage of always knowing the choice of the next
action, reducing the chances of error and increasing the
preconditions for successful promotion of the ball forward.

1v1 ATTACKING TACTICAL APPROACH

1v1 football habit training is the attacker's weapon that can create the
necessary conditions for the manifestation of a significant goal
opportunity. Successful 1v1 creates supernumerary situations or creates
space and time for the next action (pass or shot). This ability is essential
for attackers and must be trained in many ways.

1v1 DEFENSIVE TACTICAL APPROACH

Training the football habit of defending in 1v1 is very important and the
player should be read and be able to understand how he should act
depending on where he is, the body posture and skills of the opponent.
Subcategories that should be trained separately are:

BLOCK THE PASS LINE

The training of the football habit of blocking the passing line is

one of the most important details on the field and is an essential
element for the successful recovery of the ball.
In the same way that a footballer should look back before
receiving the ball, so he should look back and around to increase
the chances of recovery. The defender should be aware of the
space beyond the field of view recorded by his peripheral vision.
Thus, he has to close the aisles of the pass by placing his body
between the players who intend to cooperate and this only
happens if he glances back so that he knows exactly where to
move and "block the pass".

AGGRESSIVE MARKING

Training the football habit of offensive marking is one of the most

important individual defensive behaviors that require proper game
reading.
Aggressive marking is characterized by strength, intensity, energy speed
and determination. It is often considered risky, but it is 100% effective if
you can read the signs and only intervene when needed. The signs of an
"aggressive marking" are:
When the opponent loses complete control of the ball with a touch
away from his feet and I am close to him
When the opponent is with his back to the goal and I am close to him
When the opponent is close to the line (in this case teammate=line)
When the opponent is very close to score a goal

BALL PROTECTION & CONTROL

Training the football habit of ball protection is one of the most

important individual offensive behaviors that require complete
control of the ball.
The protection and control of the ball most of the time go
together because in order to have control of the ball when the
opponent comes and presses hard, you will have to find ways to
protect it. It can be seen as a useful element in all parts of the
field and can be used as a time-saving tool in case no free options
are found. The body and specifically the support elbow and foot
should be between the ball and the opponent.

PHYSICAL CONDITION (STRENGTH - ENDURANCE - ASSEMBLY)

Our philosophy as FootballMind does not contain enough training

material for these objectives. Ages up to 12 years old should not
consume useful and limited training hours in these 3 categories.
These goals are still very important for the footballer, but in the
developmental ages, more importance should be given to
technique and football habits. The musculoskeletal and
cardiorespiratory system is not fully developed and it is not
considered necessary to train the footballer especially in strength
and endurance. Also, the assembling skills (assembly) of
footballers can be trained simultaneously with the use of
competitive games or exercises with parallel objectives
(proprioception, peripheral vision, etc.) without being trained
separately, wasting valuable time on technical details.
PSYCHOMOTOR OBJECTIVES

These objectives include players' motor and mental abilities that are
important for solving solutions, achieving successful collaborations and
creating important offensive and defensive conditions.
