GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
Acquisition and Application of knowledge, skills and attitude through the utilization
of the nursing process in the care of patients with visual and auditory disturbances with
emphasis on health promotion, prevention and maintenance of health.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the end of 24 hours Related Learning Experience, I will be able to:
1. Establish Rapport with my Clinical Instructor and fellow dutymates, Health
Personnel, and Hospital Staffs professionally;
2. Orient myself with the policies and protocols and physical setup of the hospital
accordingly;
3. Formulate a comprehensive plan of care and set goals for desired outcomes;
4. Compose an evaluation of the client’s case as well as the procedures done to
alleviate client suffering informatively;
5. Impart health teachings to the patient and/or significant others clearly.
6. Construct drug study of the patient’s medications comprehensively.

6:30 am to 6:45 am Call time (checking of attendance, proper

uniform, and nursing kit)

6:45 am Departure in the campus going EAAB

7:00 am to 7:30 am Endorsements and Rounds

-review patient’s chart

7:31 am to 9:00 am Go to the designated area/ward, check

the patient’s vital signs, provide morning
care, give medications if
scheduled/ordered, assess the patient by
establishing rapport.

9:01 am to 9:30 am BREAK

9:31 am to 12:00 nn Identify nursing problem, chart data and

observations.

12:01 nn to 1:00 pm LUNCH BREAK

1:01 pm to 2:00 pm Giving due medications, taking of I&O if

needed, plotting, health teachings and
charting, rechecking the patient’s chart.

2:01 pm to 3:00 pm Completion of hospital requirements

(filling up cards), endorsement for the
next shift.
