I am majoring in Chemistry with a focus in Cell and Molecular Biology/Biochemistry, and minoring in Science,
Technology, and Society at Colby College. I also plan to complete a dual-degree program in Chemical Engineering at
Columbia University. I hope to obtain a Ph.D., and I have completed a research thesis over the use of supercritical
carbon dioxide in the recycling process of lithium-ion batteries.

Science National Honors Society (2021-present)
As an officer and tutoring coordinator for SNHS, I work with my
fellow officers to create and facilitate an enriching experience
for all members, with an emphasis on scientific knowledge. My
duties include researching and securing volunteer
opportunities, inviting influential scientific professionals to
speak for SNHS club members, creating and managing signups
for events, and overseeing the tutoring program SNHS offers.
National Technical Honors Society (2021-present)
an enjoyable and enriching experience to members of the club,
including organizing career & technical education (CTE) related
volunteer opportunities, after school CTE lab sessions,
experienced professional speaker events, and informational
lessons on many engineering/biomedical topics.
CMS HOSA- Future Health Professionals (2018-
present)
As a longstanding member and leader of HOSA, I encourage
new and uninvolved members to take advantage of our many
volunteer opportunities and learning experiences, as well as to
participate in our annual competitions. My duties as a leader
are to organize speaker events, volunteer opportunities,
medical science tutoring, blood drives, and encourage members
to donate and participate in our quarterly fundraisers. I have
placed as an finalist in the regional Forensic Science
competition (2018), Biomedical Debate competition (2019), and
Biomedical Lab Science competition (2021).
Youth in Government (2021-present)
As a member of YIG I attend the YMCA CCE Youth in
Government Conference. This includes 3 days in which elected
peers serve as legislators, executive officials, etc. and carry out
the legislative process with bills propose by students. In 2021 I
served as a press delegate, and in 2022 I served as a member of
the White Senate with a proposed bill

As a member of NEHS, I complete English related volunteer
service hours, including reading to children, providing English
tutoring to my classmates, donating, and fundraising.

subjects for underclassmen and middle schoolers.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
CMS BAND (2015-2020)
I was a clarinet player in band until my sophomore year of
high school when I had to quit because of COVID related
distance learning during my junior year. I was first chair
clarinet player three years consecutively (every year that I
participated in high school), and I was selected for All-Star,
All-County, and Mid-state band in 2018, and 2019.
CMS CHOIR (2019-PRESENT)
I am a soprano in choir, I have participated for 3 years, and I
Arts (2020),
All-county, Mid-state, and All-state alternate (2021). I plan to
continue choir in college.
CMS ARCHERY (2015-2019)
I was a member of the archery team for 4 years, and I won
first place in 2 county championships (2016, 2018). After I
started working in my sophomore year, I did not have time to
remain on the archery team, but I continue to practice on my
own.
E.T.C. ADVANCED TUMBLING (2009-2020)
I was on the advanced tumbling competitive team and won
first place in 2 regional competitions, and second place in 3
regional competitions (2017-2019). I was team captain and a
student coach. I was forced to quit in 2020 after sustaining a
traumatic knee injury, but I continue to serve as a student
coach today.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
LINEBAUGH PUBLIC LIBRARY (2016-2021)
250+ hours
I helped assist children in weekly activities, maintain a clean
and safe environment, shelve books, prepare, and set up
activities. I aided in our summer feeding programs where I
helped feed children and families in need and participated in
fundraisers to help shelter the homeless population.
