3. Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course a student is expected to understand the various concepts of Muslim Law as
per the injunctions and principles of Quran and Sunna. The various applications of concept and its
associated legal implications through judicial decisions of High Courts and Supreme Court of India. It
is to make Islamic law more understandable and meaningful to students by ensuring that they learn
about the concepts like Marriage, Divorce, Maintenance, Parentage, Adoption, Inheritance,
Guardianship, Succession, Wasiyat, Gift and Waqf.
