Your teacher will direct when to utilize the following materials 
during the live class. 

Activity 14.01: Mikes and Maries


Directions: For the next 3 minutes, you and your classmates will take 
turns mumbling the following phrases: 

Susanna lent me some money. 


My interview finished at noon. 
The penguin stole my ice cream. 
Someone is knocking on the door. 
Barcelona won the game. 
Allie will be home around 7. 
Stephanie can speak 3 languages.

Activity 14.02:: Missing Information


Directions: 

You and your partner have 3-5 minutes to ask each other subject 
questions to fill in the missing information. 

Decide which will be student A and which of you will be student B. 

Ex: SA: Who bought a new car last week?; SB: My father bought a new car last 
week. 

Student A
