Ans. King Akbar said the above line to Tansen.
Q2. Who stole the diamond necklace and why?
Ans. Some jealous courtiers stole the diamond necklace given by the Emperor
to Tansen as they wanted to disgrace Tansen in front of the emperor.
Ex VI. Question Answer:
Q1. Why did king Ramachandra gift Tansen to Emperor Akbar?
Ans. King Ramachandra could not afford to displease the powerful king Akbar
so he gifted Tansen to Emperor Akbar.
Q2. How did Tansen manage to sing Deepak Raga without getting himself
harmed?
Ans. Tansen knew that singing Deepak Raga was dangerous, as it could set the
singer on fire. But he also knew that if Megh Raga, which brings rain, would be
sung at the same time, he could be saved from the fury of the heat created while
singing the raga. So, he asked Rupa to sing Megh Raga at the same time as he
sung the Deepak Raga, to bring down the effect of the heat generated by his
singing.
Q3. What was the reason Tansen went to see Mohammad Ghaus?
Ans. Tansen went to see Mohammad Ghaus as it was his father’s last wish, for
him to go and be trained by Mohammad Ghaus.
