CLASSES III-V
NEWSLETTER
APRIL-MAY (2022-23)

‘This is a new year. A new beginning. And things will change.’

Dear Parents
As we prepare for the new academic year (2022-23), we applaud the resilience and perseverance
shown by all during this pandemic. Entering the new academic year, we are filled with positivity
and excitement, though we may face new challenges which would be a learning experience for us.
As a team, we will continue to adapt and learn in every situation. We must always remember the
role and the importance of education to help overcome all obstacles.
It gives us immense joy to see the children conforming to a congenial environment in the new
normal and accommodating themselves into it with full jubilation. We at DPS Sector 45,
Gurgaon are committed to nurturing our young learners through an integrated curriculum that
aims towards the holistic development of the children.
In tandem with the belief of providing comprehensive education, we will be organising various
interesting activities that would strengthen self-confidence and inculcate freedom of thought
and expression amongst the students.

Life Skills - It assists the children in confidently negotiating small day to day challenges by
analytical thinking and inculcation of skills that increase self-awareness making them more
independent and self-reliant.
Quality Circle Time - It is aimed at facilitating high morale and ingenuity amongst the
young learners. This provides a platform to the children wherein they are able to discuss
without any inhibitions various issues confidently with their peers and teachers. This assists
them in better behaviour management, problem solving and building stronger bonds with
others.
Guest Speaker Programme - This ongoing programme gives an opportunity to the parents
to interact with the children. Parents being equal partners in education come and share their
experiences and give an insight into their respective careers.
Buddy Reading Programme – As a part of this ongoing programme students of classes IV
and V understand the true meaning of peer tutoring. They get a chance to teach the tiny tots
at the Primary School in sec 47. This wholesome experience builds up the self-esteem of the
little learners.
Aim high to the sky, in all that you do.
Because you just never know, what it takes to be you!
Be strong and be brave, but at the same time be kind.
And always be sure, that you’re using your mind!
