What gives me joy?

When I think about what gives me joy, I often think of how successful people around me
are. Do I uplift others? Do I help them achieve their goals? How am I helping them?
When I see others around me become successful, that gives me great joy.
When I am with my loved ones and spending time with them, that makes me feel
complete and gives me joy. I feel complete and most relaxed when I can sit on my front
porch and sip on a nice cup of coffee. This gives me not only peace, but joy. I assume
that my joy is also linked with what gives me peace.

passionate about. I am very passionate about my work and achieving results, so I would
say that I am good at that because I put a lot of effort into it.
I am good at establishing deep connections and relationships with my team. I am good
at achieving and meeting goals while also putting my team first at all times.

and doing everything I can to meet it.

and reliability.

What does the world need me to do?

This is a hard question for me to answer, because when I think about this I ultimately
involve my religion into it. Besides my religion, I feel as if all humans are here to make
the world a better place. They are to contribute to the best of their abilities. I feel as if
this can be continuing to something that you are good at while living in the world. If you
are a fantastic baker, continue to bake. If you are a great builder, live your life building. I
feel like the world needs me to contribute what I am good at. I have a strong love for
people and the business world, thus I will live my life loving people and working a
business job. The world needs everyone to make it a better place, and show everyone in
it more love and gratitude.

Prompt #4
How do your various roles influence how you see yourself?

When I see myself as a student, I see myself as someone who is a hard worker and
dedicated to graduating. I never let my schedule get in the way of being successful in
school. It gives me such happiness knowing how far I have come with school. When I
am a sister, I see myself as someone that a person can trust and count on during life's
hardest times. When I am a
daughter, I see myself as a strong woman that my parents raised. Someone who is
ready to face the world because I feel prepared. When I see myself as a manager, I see
myself as a person who wears many hats. I am a friend, mom, someone who is
trustworthy, someone who cares, someone who offers guidance and direction. I feel
most helpful.

How do your various roles influence how you see the world?
I don't really know to be honest. I see myself as helping the world in a way by helping
others. I am grateful to live in a world where I can benefit while also benefiting others.

How do you currently prioritize your roles?

When it comes to my roles, I prioritize them by the week. I always put family, my job, and
school work ahead of anything else. Recently, I have really been making sure that I set
aside time for myself to relax just by myself. In my day to day schedule, I always set
aside time each day for family, work, and school. This could be by phone calls, social
media check-ins, or a bookstore stop after work to complete school on my laptop. I
easily prioritize my roles by what is most important to me, and I work on it every single
day.

How do you see your roles changing in the future – and how will that affect your
identity?

I see my roles shifting as I progress in life, such as graduating, new promotions, building
onto my family. My approach will be the same. However, I will always see myself as a
sister, student, leader, and hard worker. My identity will always be the same to me, but
my hats will change!

Prompt #5

What underlying meaning did you discover through exploring your dreams and desires
in this manner? Can you see a connection between what you desire and your inner
sense of purpose? Explain.
When I think about my dreams I think about what my goal in life is. I want to be
successful, I want to be a mother, and I just want to live my life comfortably. Right away
my immediate goals are to graduate, work for a promotion, and buy a home. Along the
way, I hope to inspire others with my leadership capabilities, while also growing myself
as an individual. I aspire to make friends, change lives through mentorship, leadership,
and religion. I often play into my religion when it comes to my purpose in life because
when it comes to God, he gave me a purpose. My goal is to not only glorify him, but to
glorify him in the works I do for others. I am such a people person, and I surround
myself with people that I can learn something from while also teaching them something
at the same time. I guess when it comes to my purpose and my goals in life they
definitely intermingle.
What I learned about myself is how much my success plays a role in how I can lead
others to their success while also glorifying God.
