Who I am?

Our Self-Awareness worksheet (Who am I?) is the first worksheet in a


series of worksheets we use for Self Discovery and Goal Setting. This
Self-Awareness worksheet focuses on discovering “Who am I?.” It is
an all-encompassing worksheet that address talents, qualities, values,
perception, and self-reflection. The other worksheets in the series
focus on a specific aspect of self-Discovery.

Self-Awareness Worksheet

Self-Awareness happens through reflection. You can have numerous


experiences in your life, but still lack self-awareness. You need to take
the time to step outside of your experiences and reflect on them. The
key areas for self-awareness include our personality traits, personal
values, emotions, habits, and the psychological needs that motivate
our behaviors.
Self-awareness and/or Self Discovery is about knowing and
understanding:
• your beliefs and principles
• What you value and what is important to you
• what motivates you
• your own emotions
• your thinking patterns
• your tendencies to react to certain situations
• what you want out of life

Who I am?

To get you thinking about your personal development plan and your
mission statement, spend some time contemplating the following:

TALENTS
What are your greatest talents or skills?
Ans: my greatest talents are playing badminton and I cook well.even
iam good at my academics

Which of your talents or skills gives you the greatest sense of pride or
satisfaction?

Though my talent in playing badminton didn’t give me any prize or


achievements but iam completely satisfied.even I have satisfaction in
my academics when I achieved star achiever and proficiency in my
undergraduation

What talents or skills do you admire most in others?

The talents or skills I most admire in others are motivating


others,teaching.
What talent or skill do you wish to develop for yourself?

The skill I wish to develop myself is drawing.The talent I wish to develop


is to teach others such that I could share my knowledge

or why not?

YES, I spend enough time on the things I value the most because it is
more important part of my life.if I don’t do so I feel my life is not
complete there will no satisfaction for me.

What are the values that you hold most near to your heart?

The one closest to my heart are love and respect. They encompass most
like love your country,yourself,family.

PERCEPTION
How is the “public you” different from the “private you”?
Those that know my status I’m more open about what is going on truly
have fun when I’m with them.Now those I’m not open too I hide a lot
and not as fun or hangout with them.

What makes it hard to be yourself with others?

Lack of Self-confidence.I think self-confidence gives courage to stay


around the people with the qualities actually what we have so I feel lack
of self confidence makes it hard to be ourself with others

How are you trying to please others with the way you live your life?

I try them to know what are opinions and try to convience and ask what
actually is wrong and if there something like that I would change my
opinion.and I will tell how happy I would be with this descision and what
I achieve

What do you want people to think and say about you?

Actually I don’t want to be focused more. But the people shhould think
about me what am I actually even it is good or bad because in my
opinion all people do mistakes including me so there is nothing to say
that you are wrong I accept it wholeheartedly if iam wrong.
How do your behaviors and actions support what they think or say?

My behaviours and actions support me a lot because those relfect my


behaviour

What do you least want people to think about you?

That I dont talk bad about anyone

It is more important to be ourself and liked by everyone I think it is


diificult but priotization depends on situation atleast our family should be
ok with it.

I hope to complete my reaserch in mathematics specially on the topic


“age of species” and get a P.H.D from a reputed college

I want to receive an award during reasearch for best project I would


want that award to represent my hardwork, talent.

what would it be?

Yes a MIRROR is what I see myself as.everyday morning when I wake


up in the morning,the mirror is what shows my true image.it does not
hide my age wrinkles fear.it doesn’t usually give pretty pictures,but it
gives realistic pictures of me.which lets me know what iam.

What do you like best about yourself?

The best I like about myself is positive attitude.i love the I deal with all
the negativities of my life and didn’t ever let the hatered seep inside my
soul,when everyday I face a lot of negative comments,criisisms and
judgements every time a wave of positivity embraces me and let my
mental health to get affected by it.

What do you like least about yourself?

Though I have positive attitude sometimes I feel low even then I act
normal when iam not because things are getting worse day by day. this
is the thing I like least in myself

What do you admire about them?


I admire swami vivekananda for the values he taught especially to
youth which gives me a good path to follow and become a great
citizen.i admire my father because he helped a lot of people even if it
was above his hands.
