PBIS Tier I Team Meeting Minutes

PBIS Mission Statement:  As WWES’s PBIS team, our mission is to develop school-wide
systems that promote a safe and positive environment for students, staff, and
community.  As a team, we use data to drive decisions and facilitate alignment in
school-wide expectations that support students’ social-emotional and academic success.

Meeting Focus
● How many PRIDE tickets do we pass out daily?
● Increase PRIDE ticket distribution – share with team
● 5th grade students saving PRIDE tickets for little buddies
● 5th grade idea - have students select another student to award PRIDE to at the
end of day
● IMPORTANT - Share with Team – Review with students PRIDE matrix,
expectations and PRIDE acronym to prepare for site visit
● Site Visit
● PRIDE Classroom Walkthrough Check off list will be shared by Juliet - Share
with Team
● Discussion and completion of Tiered Fidelity Inventory - TFI Survey

Action Items

● Review 1.10 – School Wide Share of discipline data

● Review 1.11 - Jean will contact to PTA, Lauren Stofle, to obtain association
minutes to provide evidence for 1.11
● Review 3.14 – Clarification – Question about 1 or 2 rating
● Calendar next year’s meeting
● Next year we plan to share discipline data with staff more frequently -
quarterly
● Site Visit schedule for Tuesday or Thursday of April 18-22 or after recess of
SBAC testing is occurring
● Talk with Team - Bring to meeting positve events/stories from the classroom
● PRIDE Awards - Determined and Growth Mindset - May 20th Awards due
● Next Meeting - May 10, 2022 - Agenda Item - Calendar next year’s meetings
