Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)

Rnds 4-6: 18 sc (3 rounds)
Rnd 7: (4 sc, dec)*3, 2 сс (15)
Fasten off, break yarn and hide the tail inside. Stuff the bill with fiberfill.
ASSEMBLY
1. Sew the bill.
(Insert and draw out the needle through the hole on the top of the head).
Pin the bill. The distance between the bottom part of the bill and mug is 3
rounds. The distance between the upper part of the bill and mug is 7 rounds.
8
Split yellow yarn into two threads and sew on the bill.
Tie threads together, cut off the excess thread and hide the tails inside the
toy.
2. Embroider the eyes.
Mark the position of the eyes with pins.
(My option: it is the 8-9th rounds from the mug. The distance between the
eyes is 8 sc. The length is 5 sc, and the height is 1 sc).
9
3. Outline the borders of the heart with pins.
Embroider the heart using red yarn.
10
11
Embroider V-shapes, stitches, or hearts randomly with white thread to
decorate the mug.
Once you weaved through 12 loops, weave through 2-3 loops at once
with a tapestry needle. Do not forget to tighten. Repeat 3 times. Cut the
excess yarn and hide the yarn tail inside the penguin.
12
MUG HANDLE
Yarn Art Jeans No. 54 - (blue)
13
Prepare a wireframe with the same length as the handle. Bend the ends,
and secure them with adhesive tape. Insert wireframe into the handle and
stuff with fiberfill.
CAP
Yarn Art Jeans No. 90 - (red)
Work in back and forth rows through back loops only.
14
Chain 36 and start working in the second chain from hook 35 HDC,
chain 1, turn.
Try on the garment on the head of our penguin before sewing the
sides.
(You may need to crochet more or fewer rows. It depends on your
crochet density).
15
Turn inside out. Gather one edge of the garment using a tapestry
needle, tighten it and sew until it is completely joined.
16
POMPOM
Use any 100% acrylic yarn.
Drape your yarn around three fingers 150 times. How many times you wrap
the yarn around your fingers will depend on how big you want the pompom
to be.
Carefully pull the yarn off your fingers and set it down on top of your
short piece of yarn. Tie the yarn tightly around your bundle. Trim off the
excess yarn, then cut through the loops to either side of the bundle.
17
Pull the yarn tails through the top of the cap using a crochet hook. Turn
inside out and tie threads firmly a few times.
