As the world advances in time, so do the people and technology.

We are living in the

most technologically advanced time there has ever been. One of the greatest achievements of

technology is the creation of Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Integleince or AI systems are the

development of computer systems being able to perform tasks that normally requires human

intelligence. As technology advances and AI systems become more common how are they

affecting our future as humans.

Artificial intelligence systems have affected the way the world works since they were

created. AI systems can be used in numerous amount of ways and fields. In-Law enforcement AI

systems are being used to predict where and when more crimes could appear. As explained by

(Dixon, 2021) PredPol is an algorithm used by police departments in several cities across the

United States, continually updating its crime predictions for each zone over the course of the

day. Another field that is using artificial intelligence systems, is the medical field. AI systems in

the medical field provide many benefits. AI systems bring earlier diagnostics, lower costs and

efficient assistance with surgeries. As explained by (Patel, 2020) “AI-driven tools now rely on

people’s data to assess the previous and present health issues of patients. By comparing the

disease details, healthcare professionals are positioned to diagnose more accurately”. AI systems

have numerous positive effects when discussing them but they also have their negative effects as

well.

Other than the benefits that these artificial intelligence systems can bring us, these AI

systems can also come with a lot of side effects. A major side effect that comes from AI systems

is unemployment and the depleting workforce. As more AI systems are created and launched

into the public, jobs like teachers, factory workers, and many other jobs will be taken by
machines. As stated by (Bhagat, 2020) “One study found that about 37% of positions in the U.S.

could be "powerless" to AI by the mid-2030s”. Another effect of AI systems is the decrease in

human interaction. Since AI systems will be taking most of the jobs, the need for face-to-face

interaction will no longer be needed, causing a huge change in how society is socializing. Stated

by (Tzu, 2020) “Human closeness will be gradually diminishing as AI will replace the need for

people to meet face to face for idea exchange”. As technology advances AI systems could bring

humans to a downfall, stripping away jobs, and decreasing the interactions we have with other

humans.

Artificial Intelligence systems can bring many good and bad effects on society. Humans

and AI must try to work together so that we can all have a long future. AI and humans have

many ways that they can work together. In the medical field, “physicians are wanting to be

trained on how to use these AI systems” stated by (Laura, 2022). In the photography field,

photographers are taking advantage of the AI systems in drones, so they can shoot the perfect

photo. As stated by (Jash, 2020) “Drones are flying robots that remotely fly autonomously

through software-controlled planes. Drones can be used for various purposes like photography,

and movie shooting”. Another field that has comprised with AI systems is the transportation

field. Many businesses and people are comprising with the idea of AI-controlled transportation

because of the safety and the quick travel times between stops. As explained by (Filonenko,

2021) AI would collect and analyze the data provided by cameras and sensors. It would identify

a faster route and avoid traffic lights to reach the destination faster and safer. With the good and

the bad, humans and AI systems can comprise with each other when needed.

In conclusion, artificial intelligence systems have their positive effects on the world and

also their negative effects. AI systems can be used to improve our safety and help us with work
in your certain field. AI systems can also cause unemployment for many people, and cause a

decrease in human interaction. Comprise has been made between the two. Physicians want to

learn how to use these AI systems within their workplace, and the AI system-controlled

transportation systems. As technology advances, so will people, balance is needed when

speaking about the future of technology and humans.
