Purpose:
Need:
Due to audit recommendations, OMC has decided to regularise the connections from PMUY
to EPMUY and EPMUY2, as applicable, so that duplicate / wrong data updated consumers can be
corrected.
Process:
A. Process to change Ration card no of EPMUY consumer:
- This process is to change ration card no of the active EPMUY consumers and EPMUY
unverified consumers.

- This option can be used only once.
- Distributor need to carefully update the ration card as once proceed button is clicked it
cannot be reversed.
- Once ration card found as duplicate against any consumer within BPC or OMC for that
state then consumer will be blocked and cannot be unblocked there after by any process.
- Only TV can be prepared for these consumers.
This process allows to change category of PMUY consumers to EPMUY category and EPMUY1
consumers to EPMUY2 category. All the validations of EPMUY scheme will be applicable during
regularization. Ration card of approved format only will be allowed to enter. Family member to be
declared as per RC with adhar as per guidelines of EPMUY.
Internal and OMC dedup will also be done on real time basis for RC and adhaar of all family members.
If consumer is found duplicate against any other consumer then it will be blocked and needs to be
terminated.
Process:
1. Enter consumer number-
2. Below screen will allow to declare rc members and add family member. Family members
already added during PMUY will not be allowed to be changed. Member can only be added.
3. RC and scheme details need to be entered . After clicking on ‘do internal dedup and get
document for upload’ - internal deduplication will happen if found duplicate within company
then consumer will be blocked and cannot be unblocked and won’t be sent for SO approval.
6. SO approval:
SO needs to approve each request where category need to be changed.
SO will be able to check all the family and scheme details and documents as updated by
distributor as shown below

- Distributor will not be able to change any details in this option. Operator only needs to
click on dedup button at the end of the page.
- Deduplication may take a minute to complete, operator needs to wait for the duplication
to be completed.
- If any network error comes. Button can be clicked again till network is established
properly.
- If found duplicate consumer will be blocked and needs to be terminated by the distributor.
