This Quick Guide describes the different steps to use the SpTH tool simply and how to obtain the
QR Code necessary so that you can show it at the health control when you arrive in Spain.

This guide aims to be a basic document where any traveller can answer the questions they have
in a simple and visual way when filling in the Health Control Form. The guide also provides
recommendations for passengers to consider based on user experience so far.

There are two ways to access the SpTH:

Website option: via www.spth.gob.es

Mobile application: download from Google Play or the App Store

SpTH aims to provide a more efficient health control service for all people travelling to Spain.

airport control when you arrive.

STEP 1. PERSONAL
INFORMATION

All fields marked with an "*"
are mandatory, and you
cannot continue with them

The name, surname and date


of birth must match the
vaccination/test/recovery
certificate, as required.

appear if you are coming from
a COUNTRY AT RISK and are
over 12 years old.

COVID Certificates will become
valid 14 days after the full
vaccination schedule as long as
no more than 270 days have
passed since the date of the last
dose.
From then on, vaccination
certificates will have to reflect
the administration of a booster
dose.
If you come from a high-risk
country, you must upload a
valid certificate of vaccination
or covid-19 recovery and also
an AIDT, with a negative result,
to pass the health controls on
your arrival in Spain.
Since 1 February, some EU Covid
Digital Certificates of
Vaccination must be reissued,
following the administration of
a booster dose. Please contact
your issuing organisation and
check its validity before
travelling.

3.1.2 New Family/Group form.
1. Start a new Family/Group
form.

mandatory information the
same as the individual form.
Use alphabetic characters,
avoid accents or special

changed later.

information, you can add any
passenger information you
wish.
To add a new passenger, click on

in the form. The telephone
number and e-mail address

If you come from a HIGH RISK


country/territory, in order to
pass the health controls, on
arrival in Spain, regardless of
whether you have a
vaccination or recovery
certificate, you will have to
present your SpTH QR code
together with a certificate of
diagnostic test for active
SARS-CoV-2 infection (PDIA),
with a negative result.

7. Finish the process by filling in


the responsible declaration.

At this point the QR will


have been generated for
each member of the
group/family and will be
sent by email to the
address(es) indicated when

printing it, is

3.2 Continue Previously Created Form.

Retrieve the form identifier and


the form/security code from your
email inbox, which you entered
when you started the form .

the email and the passport

used to start the Form and

Check your email as the QR Code


will be sent again.

A QR code can only be


retrieved if it has been
successfully generated by
pressing the "Finish" button.
If you cannot retrieve a QR
code, you may not have
finished it, in which case it
can be finished using the
Continue with form option on

the home page.

3.3.2 Amend QR Code
1. Go to Amend QR Code.

Check your email, the original


email should contain the
necessary information to access
the amendment.
2. To amend your QR code,
enter the form identifier that
you received by email from
spaintravelhealth-no-
reply@spth.gob.es or use
your personal identification
number. In both cases, you
will need the security/form
code.
If you cannot find the security
code, you can retrieve it under
amend QR code by clicking on:
retrieve security code, (phrase
in blue below the security code
field). For more details see
section 3.3.3 Retrieve

This option also allows you to
amend a QR code generated
by the app.
2 3. Accept the reCAPTCHA.
4. Click Continue.

Once the QR code is
amended, you will receive an

and the old one will be
cancelled and not valid for
travel.

To amend a Family/Group form,


you must enter through Amend
QR Code and by filling in the
identifier and form/security code
of the group leader.

5. Amend the fields you need.

Only three fields may be


amended: seat number,
residence address and the
address where you will stay.

If you need to change a field


other than the three indicated
as allowed, you will have to
generate a new form with a
new personal identification
number.

6. Click on save amendment to


save the changes you made.

7. Once the application confirms


that the form has been
amended, click on finish to
make the changes effective.

An email will be sent with a new


QR code, with the latest

amendments made.

8. Click on Finalize.

verified, you will receive a
message confirming that it
has been successfully verified.

If you try to register an e-mail


that you have already
registered but have not
activated, you will be shown
a warning, indicating that the
e-mail is registered in the
system pending activation,
you have the option to
receive the activation e-mail
again.

When you start a form, you are


given the option to register.

3.4.6.4 Change Password 15. Select Change password if
you want to change it. Once
you have entered the new

By filling in the password, the


information regarding the rules to
be complied with will be
dynamically displayed. In green if
already fulfilled and in red if not
yet fulfilled.

16. Select Deregister if you wish


to deregister, on the screen
click Deregister, when
finished a warning screen will
be displayed indicating that
this has been done
3.4.6.5 User deregistration successfully.
The deregistration implies the
deletion of your personal data,
16 but NOT the deletion of your
forms and QRs from the system,
you will be able to continue
outside the user registration.

You will receive a


confirmation email once the
deregistration has been
successfully completed.

3.4.6.6 Creation of QRs If you are logged in, when you
create a QR you will already
have automatically filled in all
the fields reported in the
registration.
If you subsequently change
data in the form, except for
the telephone number, you
can update your profile.
1. Check the QR is for someone
else checkbox if an individual
FCS form registration is not
for you, so that the session

registration data will not be
retrieved.

The email address will be


displayed only once and in read-
only mode.

In the group FCS Forms, the


data of the logged-in user is
provided by default and can
be modified, except for the e-
mail address.

3.5 DCC validation for travel abroad 1. Within other links of interest
