EMPLOYMENT VISA APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS 2022

1. SIGNED VISA APPLICATION SUMMARY SHEET from www.visas.inis.gov.ie


2. 3 PASSPORT SIZE PICTURES- taken within recent 3 months, white background
3. ORIGINAL PASSPORT- valid for atleast 1 yr. from intended entry, SIGNED at appropriate
section, with photocopy of all pages except blank pages
4. PREVIOUS PASSPORT – if work permit contains old passport details, photocopy of valid visas
5. BIRTH & MARRIAGE – if applicable, PSA copy
6. LETTER OF APPLICATION - A signed letter of application including your full contact details -outlining your
reason for wanting to come to Ireland, giving details of any members of your family who are currently in Ireland, or any other
EU Member State,giving details of how long you intend to stay in Ireland, giving details of where you intend to stay while you
are in Ireland, undertaking that you will observe the conditions of your visa, that you will not become a burden on the State,
and that you will leave the State on the expiry of your permission to remain.
7. VISA FEE & COMM CHARGES –Php 5000 (Single Entry) or Php 8000 (Multiple Entry)

1. ATYPICAL WORK SCHEME PERMIT or ORIGINAL INTRA-COMPANY WORK PERMIT

previous employment certificates, PRC license
ALL DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED MUST BE ORIGINALS WITH 2 PHOTOCOPIES

PROCESSING TIME: 4-6weeks

STEPS FOR FILING A VISA APPLICATION 2022

STEP 1. Log on to www.visas.inis.gov.ie to complete the application form


Print out visa application summary sheet and sign in the designated area.
Ensure your photo was taken within the recent 3 months, is of good quality, on smooth photo paper
with white background . Take note of your online reference/transaction number.
STEP 2. Complete Documents and make 2 photocopies
Originals of all documents must be submitted along with 2 clear photocopies (a total of 3 sets of
documents). Unclear photocopies will not be accepted. 1 set of original documents may be used
by more than 1 applicant, if submitting at the same time, but each applicant must still have 2 sets of
photocopies of the original documents.
STEP 3. Submit the application via Courier
SUBMISSION VIA COURIER ie. LBC, 2GO, FedEx, DHL etc. (NOT postal service or couriers
without waybills as proof of delivery receipt)
Enclose original passport and all documents with 2 photocopies in an envelope indication your
name , return address, and mobile#. Remember to Take note of your online
reference/transaction number before sending the documents. Send to 3/F Max’s Bldg. 70
Jupiter St. Bel-Air 1, Makati City 1209. Email manila@honoraryconsul.ie after 3 days to confirm
if application has been received and are in order. Payments in the form of a manager’s check must
be made payable to CONSULATE GENERAL OF IRELAND and enclosed with documents.

STEP 4. Visa Decisions


Please note current processing times:
Short Term Visit / Tourist/ / Marriage/ Event/ Performance Training/
Conference/ Religious/Volunteer min. 6-8 weeks
Business/ Employment/ Intra Company 4-6 weeks
Study/ Join ship /Join Family–non EU, Qualified EU Family, UK Family min. 8 weeks

To check the status of your application you may email manila@honoraryconsul.ie You may inquire
only after the prescribed processing time has passed. Indicate your reference number on the
subject line of your email.

If your application is approved, you will receive an email advising of the decision and instructions on the collection
of your visa sticker. Passports from applications received through courier will be returned via courier.

If your application is refused, your original documents will be returned via courier along with a letter that stating
the reasons for refusal and the option on how to make an appeal on your application.

PLEASE NOTE: Applications submitted will not be processed unless all documents (including photocopies)
and fees are completed.
