BODY

With smaller size needles cast on 208 sts using German


method + to join in the round. Join for working in the round,
be careful not to twist.

Place BORM and work Twisted Rib pattern until the rib
measures ~ 5 cm (2”):
R1-20: [k1tbl, p3] – repeat to ER.

Change to larger needles and work as follow:


R21: [k1tbl, p3] – repeat to ER.

Work increases as follow:


R22: [k104, M1K] – repeat to ER.

peat). Work the Body as follow: Chart 2

YOKE

R1 (knit all sts):

Work 84 sts of Body, slip next 21 sts on the holder.


Join the first Sleeve by working 42 sts, with yarn from
Body, slip next 21 sts on the holder.
Continue working Body: k84, slip next 21 sts on the
holder. Join the second Sleeve by working 42 sts, with
yarn from Body, slip next 21 sts on the holder.

Leave the slipped sts on the holder/waste yarn to the end.


When sweater will be ready, close underarm gaps with
Kitchener Stitch.

{252} sts.

1 Horizontal Pattern Repeat = 21 sts.

SHORT ROWS NECKLINE

You will be working back and forth in this part. Change to smaller needles and work 2 rounds of knit
stitches.
SR 1 (WС), make yo and work 72 sts:
p9, [p6, ssp, yo, p1] – 6 times, p 9. Then work 20 rows of Twisted Rib [k1tbl, p3].

SR 2 (RS), make yo and work 66 sts: Don’t bind off, fold the neckband and seam 2 edges to-
k9, [yo, k2, ssk, k5] – 6 times, k3. gether on the wrong side with a Kitchener stitch.

SR 3 (WS), make yo and work 60 sts: FINISHING


p3, [p4, ssp, p1, yo, p2] – 6 times, p3.
With a tapestry needle, close the underarm gaps with
SR 4 (RS), make yo and work 54 sts: a Kitchener stitch.
k12, [k1, yo, k3, ssk, k3] – 4 times, k6.
If you want to keep folds, you need to form them while
SR 5 (WS), make yo and work 48 sts: sweater is wet.
p6, [p2, ssp, p2, yo, p3] – 4 times, p6.

SR 6 (RS), make yo and work 42 sts:


K6, [k2, yo, k4, ssk, k1] – 4 times.

SR 7 (WS), make yo and work 36 sts:


p36.

SR 8 (RS), make yo and work 54 sts:


k36, [yo and the next knit stitch after yo work as k2tog,
k5] – 3 times.

Then work in the round.

R 9, 108 sts: yo and the next knit stitch after yo work as


k2tog, k34, [yo and the previous knit stitch before yo,
work as ssk, k5] – 3 times, yo and the previous knit stitch
before yo, work as ssk, k54.
