personality, but also a steady improvement in my writing abilities. When I was in high
school, every paper I had to write was based around a question, and I had to either answer
the question in great detail or demonstrate why the question was a horrible question, so I
never learned how to create a correct paper that would be used in many other classes.
English 121 has unquestionably provided me with the necessary skills to further my study
English 121's Journal 1 serves as the starting point for my writing adventure; here,
the unique thoughts that I have when it comes to writing are clearly obvious, but there is
definitely potential for development in all aspects of writing. There is a strong example of
my desire to criticize a question, similar to what I did in high school, in this paragraph. In this
diary, there are also some visible errors in my MLA formatting, which I take full

causing them to experience similar emotions to myself. But there was one major issue I
needed to modify in this paper, and I did so. The use of the pronouns "I, me, and you"
throughout the work was a significant piece of feedback I received that helped me to
there is still room for development in my writing, and I took the comments into
consideration in order to ensure that similar errors were not repeated in the future.
Journal 4 is artifact number 3 due to the fact that it was so closely related to my
previous paper. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to write about Marvel Stadium and my
family on a much more intimate level. In all honesty, it was a much-needed release after
learning about some health difficulties at home. It also provided an opportunity for me to

as it was my lowest-scoring paper throughout the course. This paper was severely lacking in
annotations and sources, which was my fault. This is something I was aware of when I
submitted it, but the comments I received turned this paper into a significant learning
experience for me when it comes to incorporating sources into my future writing. Paper 3
was excellent for honing my citation abilities in preparation for paper 4, in which I hoped to

as I could. I also discovered my own writing style when it came to producing papers that
were different from the more literary type essays that I had written in high school. In
As a whole, my growth in this subject was minor but significant; I had previously
gained some confidence in my writing abilities but having to learn a new writing style for a
different type of paper was difficult. I believe I was successful in my endeavour and learned
how to be the best writer possible in terms of developing research papers and putting my
ideas down on paper, among other things. Integrating sources was also something I learned
to do in this session and became really comfortable doing, thanks to the extensive practice I
received.
