1. Green Technology: Your office has introduced Green Computing Campaign in your office. As the
Head of IT, you are to suggest several new policies in the office in your effort to support the
green computing. List 4 new office policies and explain each one.
2. With the innovation of technology, damaged machines are easily repaired with the replacement
of the broken parts. Human cloning has long been debated and has proven to be beneficial in
saving lives. Do you support human cloning? State 3 reasons with your answer.
3. Computer and internet have been blamed for the lack of human to human communication.
Family members, siblings, husband and wife has suffered communication breakdown due to
social network. What would you suggest in order to restore communication in the family
without eliminating the social network. Provide 4 suggestions.
4. In Malaysia, the broadcasting law is very clear that the materials like movies, printed and
billboard to be broadcasted should strictly be censored by the Malaysian censorship board.
What is the DISADVANTAGE of censorship to the Malaysian communities? Provide and explain
three disadvantages.
5. Robotics and automation have been known to replace human and taken over jobs. As the
minister in the Labor office, what would you propose to factories and companies that are
investing in automation that would result further unemployment. Suggest 4 policies.
6. Being the students who has experienced two different learning environments, which are actual
classes and online distance learning, which one is more effective and why? State and explain 4
reasons.
7. The year 2020 has seen the COVID-19 pandemic changed our life to the new norm. During the
MCO, computer technology has boomed resulting many new users adapting to the new norm by
embracing on-line application to continue with their daily routine. Should the year 2021 brings
the end of the pandemic and MCO, should we, the citizen of Malaysia continues living with the
on-line new norm? State 3 reasons and explain your answer.
8. Your company is losing business to your competitors. Customers who walked into your stores
never seems to find the product that they want. You came across RFID and its potential for you
to spy on your customers’ home and provide a list of goods that they use. That way you can
stock up your store with the product that you are sure that your customers will use and you will
never lose customers again. Will you use this technology? State 3 reasons why.
9. Software piracy is an activity where users buy one or a few copies of software packages and
install them on hundreds of computers or sell unauthorized copies of popular software packages
or download illegally from Internet. Explain FOUR ((4) impacts of software piracy on society,
community, government administration and economy.
10. You are one of the decision makers to the JAKOA (Jabatan Kemajuan Orang Asli) Malaysia. You
have been chosen to decide upon, either to PRESERVE or to MODERNISE. To preserve means we
are to allow the orang asli to continue living in their traditional lifestyle as their ancestors did. To
modernize means that JAKOA should intervene and introduce modern technology to the orang
asli, allowing them to lead a more comfortable lifestyle as the other Malaysian citizen. State 3
reasons for your answer.
