1. Use the A3 base map provided ( Map2-1) to indicate land uses and the distribution of both
human and economic activities you observed in the study area.
- Use appropriate cartographic techniques to produce your map.
- Use the data from your fieldwork (recording sheets and fieldwork maps).
- Give your map an appropriate title and provide a full descriptive map key (legend).
- Annotate the map with comments on land use as well as human and economic activities.

2. Classify the human and economic activities and categories of land uses based on the level
1 of the land use classification system from Land Development Department (LDD).
Explain why your classification and categories are appropriate.
