you’re making from scratch, or even an
existing garment in your wardrobe. From
aligning the pockets perfectly to finishing
the edges neatly, Liesl’s class will ensure
that your pockets are functional, beautiful,
and look like they were done by a pro.

– How to finish raw edges with zigzag stitch – Fabric for pockets
– How to open side seams on a finished garment – Straight pins
and add pockets – Fabric marker and/or tailor’s chalk
– Lightweight fusible interfacing
– Sewing machine
– Matching thread
– Iron
– Scissors
– Seam ripper

Cut out all pattern pieces on the following pages.
Where the piece bleeds over the gridded area, trim the
edge from the piece so that only the grid remains. Join
the piece to another near the matching letters using the
grid lines to align the pieces.
