My name is Cat Evers. I am 12

years old and I enjoy spending
time with my friends, acting,

am writing this article because I
belong to a music and theatre
group called the Eco Hero Kids and
I think we are doing an awesome
job telling other teens what to do
15 to protect the environment with
our songs and plays. Joining the
Eco Hero Kids has helped me to
become more aware of what people have done to the environment. I think my job as an
Eco Hero is to keep learning what we need to do, set an example and show the world that
20 if we picked up trash, stopped using so much plastic, started biking or walking instead of
driving or even simply turned off the lights, the whole world would be a better place. So,
next time you are brushing your teeth, remember to turn off the water or just use a glass!
As an Eco Hero, I want to see global warming stop!
I think that if we learn how to cut down on releasing greenhouse gases coming from cars,
25 factories and planes, we could be healthier and the amazing beautiful Ice World would stop
disappearing and we could save the polar bears. We are starting to save the world, and you
can join us. A simple step can mean a lot.
