Opeing Dear Michael,

Intro How are you? I hope you are doing all good! I heard that you are collecting

information for your Geography project. I am glad to give you some suggestions on

building a green school.

Problems at Firstly, I find some waste problem which is very serious at our school. Because

your school we do not have recycling bins at school, a lot of plastic bottles are thrown away

everywhere and sent to landfills directly. Besides, overuse of air-conditioning is

another waste problem. I find many classes keeping that air conditioning running all

day, even after school. It seriously jacks up our energy costs. Projectors and

computers also left power on after school.

Things we The most efficient way to solve those problems is to raise the environmental-
friendly awareness of students. We should encourage student to bring their own
can do water bottles or reusable bottles. I suggest that school should take more action on
increasing green facilities, such as adding more recycling bins. Also, student should
be aware of the electronic power after leaving the classroom. They should turn off
the lights and all electronics facilities to save energy. I recommend that school need
set rule to limit the air-conditioner temperature at 25.5’C.
conclusion We must solve the waste problem in our school for building a healthy and no-

pollution study environment for students. I hope my suggestions can help you finish

the project. Hope to hear from you soon.

Closing All the best,

Chris
