“Aetas Children Nutrition Campaign”

Introduction

We as a group are choosing this campaign because we want to serve as one of the voices of
Aetas community especially the children regarding their needs and rights at Porac, Pampanga.
This campaign is definitely important to be promoted for us to reach and help them regarding their
situation as a part of indigenous groups living in the Philippines. This Campaign addresses the
access of Aetas children in terms of having food, medicines, clothes and other things that can
help them to live. This campaign will also serve as a help for their faster recovery because they
are also main victims of past earthquakes since Pampanga's area is prone to strong shaking and
softer soil. They are highly affected of it because this disaster includes the destruction of their
homes that's why they have nothing but only themselves until now. These are the main reasons
why we want to pursue this campaign and we are asking for help and donations to anyone who
has the capability and willingness to give regardless his/her status in life. We will all make sure
that we will be having transparency so we can show that all of your donations and help will benefit
the Aetas Children of Porac,Pampanga.

Objectives

This advocacy is an instrument for continuing a healthy and nutritious lifestyle of every indigenous
children, we wanted to give sustainable needs for every children of every Aeta family. We are one
of those outreach programs that distributed nutritious foods or even have there feeding program
for every Aetas and we wanted to continue it in this time of pandemic with the support and any
kind of help of every individual in social media. As this pandemic hit, a lot of things has been
affected and even those LGU’s and private sectors has to minimize everything financially, so
some of the programs specifically for the indigenous people was on hold because of the financial
problems caused by the pandemic, so we wanted to be one of those individuals who wanted to
continue the works that has been affected by the pandemic. We know that we are not that Big as
the other advocacies but what we wanted was to continue the growth and improvement on
nutrition for indigenous filipino children and be part of the supplemental development of every
young aetas, its not how much we give but its how much we love what we are doing.

Concept

The promotion that we shall perform in support of our advocacy. We'll use social media to let
everyone know what kind of advocacy we're promoting for. We'll compose a post with everything
we want to do to support the Aeta children and every family in the tribe, and we'll post it there. We
share it throughout all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, so that
anybody may read and see it. Also, please inform them of the children's situation, and we will
assist them. And they may be able to assist those children in some way. We also want them to
be aware of the current status of Aeta children, particularly in light of the current pandemic.
Children are not healthy enough and are unable to study. So that our government can also pay
attention to them and help.

Our Focus is to know the health that Aeta children now have in the city of Porac Pampanga and
to know their eating routine, whether they are eating enough because these children are victims
of a disaster that occurred in their area. There was an earthquake in the mountain where they
lived so they were forced to go down to town and live there. As a result, the children there are ill
because they do not eat enough every day and their bodies lack nourishment, causing some of

them to get ill. As a response, we desire to assist people, particularly youngsters, in improving
their health in some way.

Aeta children are.

Execution

First, we will going to have a Gcash account and we will be posting it on our Facebook Page
Indigenous Campaign Nutrition Program. We will invite our friends/families to share it on their
News Feeds so in that way everyone can donate and give vhelp through social media. I was
thinking that it will be more effective in terms of getting funds for our campaign since we all know
that the internet is now the main way how the people communicate or interact to each other.
Hopefully, this activities can reach hundreds or thousands of people to reach those people who
are capable and willing to help. We will be having our live performance of some of the talented
members of the team on August 3, 2021, and a livestream of Mobile Legends on July 4, 2021 and
all of the stars/donations that we will get will go directly on our budget for the Aetas Children
Nutrition Campaign.

• Foods & Vitamins Supplements – 35,000 php
• Personal Hygiene Kit – 10,000 php
• Toys – 5,000 php
• Foods for gathering – 6,000 php
Total: 91,000 ph

The estimated budget of our group is 100,000 to execute this program. 25,000 thousand
pesos for relief good because in one tribe we helped there were 75 families, Which is each
family will be given relief goods. Our budget for the notebooks and pencils that they will
utilize for the education learning that we will perform is 10,000 pesos. Then there's their
food for the feeding program and vitamins for their health, for which we've laid aside
35,000 pesos. The Hygiene Kit that we delivered was valued at 10,000 pesos. And
because each toy costs 50 pesos, the toys we bought at Divisoria to save money totaled
5,000 pesos. And lastly, what we spent for the dishes that we cooked that we will share in
the last part of our program is worth 6,000 thousand pesos. Our estimated budget for this
program is 100,000 Thousand pesos and we spent only 91,000 Thousand pesos, the rest
we used for our expenses to go home.

We requested for support from individuals on social media platform in order to create this
program for Aeta children; the money we spent was not just from our organization, but
also from people who gave so that we could buy the needs. for this program. We not only
raised money, but we also added relief products to save money. We were able to raise
such a huge quantity of money thanks to our solicitation of support through the Social
Media platform and Stream on Mobile Legend that we can help the Aeta children who
have been through a calamity that they will remember for the rest of their lives. This is how
we've gone about carrying out this program and helping Indigenous Peoples like them
who require assistance.

Evaluation

Social Media is our main platform on gaining support and help for our advocacy, this kind of
advocacy needs a lot of help in terms of finance because that would be the source for our needs,
so even a little amount from different individuals can create a big fund for the project. Since we
will use social media as our platform it would be easy for us to spread our advocacy through
sharing and that would be a big help to reach a lot of potential volunteers and donations. As one
of our member had already been in this kind of project, we assume that we already had a bullet
in this advocacy and now we wanted to give it a try in our own, so we already have the idea on
doing this and what we should focus is our plans. Our strength and weaknesses will always
depend on our plans and finances, so as long as we have ways and resources for raising a fund
on this project, it will be good in executing this advocacy for the young Aetas.
