FITTING THE CAB

1. PREPARING THE CAB

- Equip the lower support (1) with its grab rails, then bolt the cab onto the support (Figure 1).
- Equip the upper support (2) with its grab rails, then raise it and bolt it onto the top of the cab (Figure
1).
- Finish the equipment by fitting the access ladder (3) (Figure 1).

2. FITTING THE CAB

This operation must be carried out after fitting the towerhead.
- Sling the cab and support assembly (Detail A − Figure 1).
- Raise the assembly until the upper support (1) can be pinned to the slewing part (2) (Detail A − Figure
1).
- Pin the cab support (1) to the slewing part (2) by means of 2 shafts (3) (Detail B − Figure 1) and fix
it using the screw (4), washers (5−6) and the nut (7) (Detail C − Figure 1).
IMPORTANT:For carrying out the pinning operations of the support and removing the
slings used for handling, the fitters must use the safety harness fixed to
the cathead.
