Essay Writing (10 Points)
Briefly describe the three criteria for perspectives on strategic effectiveness.

Strategies are created and used in order to acquire the desired goals of a project in an
organization. They are formulated according to the plans of a project along with the expected
outcome. Like activities, they must be managed for them to be accurate to be applied in the project.
Strategic effectiveness is present when the plans are not only applicable to a temporary
duration of a project, but are also continuously applied in the future. The objectives, mission, and
vision of the project must always be considered as these are the foundation of an enterprise and
for this to be possible, management must also be effective.
There are three criteria for strategic effectiveness—sustainability, feasibility, and
acceptability. Suitability is concerned with the outline of the whole strategy. It is present when the
strategy is concerned with the objectives of the project and always keeps them as reference for the
formulation of plans. It follows the mission of the organization while displaying the organization’s
capabilities and prevents constraints while grabbing opportunities.
Feasibility deals with the readiness of the organization for a particular strategy. Resources
are monitored and analyzed for the strategy to be completed. These resources are the people,
materials, budget and time. The availability must be fit to the strategy.
Finally, acceptability is when the strategy is executed and expectations exist within the
members if the organization. The strategy is accepted and executed while considering the possible
risks and returns (profits, benefits, etc.). Concerns are either financial or non-financial.
