GAUGE: 14 sts = 4”; 28 rounds = 4” in Garter Ridge

Finished Measurements: 43 (45¾, 48½)” around at


bottom edge. 23 (25¾, 28½)” around at top edge.

Garter Ridge Pattern


Rounds 1, 2, 3: Knit.
Round 4: Purl.
Repeat Rounds 1-4 for Garter Ridge Pattern.

Shoulder Cozy
Cast on 150 (160, 170) sts. Place marker and join to work
in the round being careful that sts are not twisted. Work
Garter st (purl 1 round, knit 1 round) for 1”, end with having
just worked a purl round. Now work Garter Ridge Pattern
for 10 (11, 12)”, end having just worked Round 4.

Shape Top
Next Round: [K2tog, k13 (14, 15)] 10 times – 140
(150, 160) sts.
Work Garter Ridge Pattern Rounds 2-4.
Next Round: [K2tog, k12 (13, 14)] 10 times – 130
(140, 150) sts.
Work Garter Ridge Pattern Rounds 2-4.
Next Round: [K2tog, k11 (12, 13)] 10 times – 120
(130, 140) sts.
Work Garter Ridge Pattern Rounds 2-4.
So Cozy Warmer Next Round: [K2tog, k10 (11, 12)] 10 times – 110
(120, 130) sts.
Work Garter Ridge Pattern Rounds 2-4.
