STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

NAME – JATINDER SINGH

PROPOSED COURSE - Business Administration Majoring in Management
EDUCATION PROVIDER - Concordia University Chicago, USA
Starting with my Family, my father is a Ex-Police officer and has a regular income of around INR 9-10
Lakh, while, my mother is a housewife. I have three siblings. My one elder brother is in Punjab Police
and other one is Civil Engineer. In light of my schooling, I have done my Matriculation under the
PSEB in 2007, obtaining 48%. Post this, I did Senior Secondary with 55% in the year, 2009 from the
same board in the Humanities stream.

Then, I have worked as Assistant site worker from 2nd December 2009 to 12th July 2016 at Fire
Guard Engineers, Fire Fighting Consultants & Contractors. Later, I joined the same company as a Site
Supervisor, on 08th March 2018 and have been working till date.

During my job, I was not satisfied due to lack of opportunities and low salary package, so I initiated to
seek international education, particularly from the America based on various reasons. First, the high
degree of proficiency of American education will broaden my skills and make me highly efficient to
survive in this highly-technological world. It provides students with wonderful opportunities and
experiences, along with world class education which help them to be a qualified professional in their
field of study.

ABOUT MY EDUCATION PROVIDER - CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO, USA

Concordia University is a private university in River Forest, Illinois, about ten miles outside of Chicago.
It was formed in 1864 and is part of the Missouri Synod of the Lutheran Church (LCMS). It is one of the
Concordia University System's eight schools and institutions having academic affiliation (CUS).

MY INTENDED COURSE: MANAGEMENT (BA)

The goal of the Management Major is to produce leaders and managers who are confident in their
abilities. During the course of study, critical and creative thinking abilities will be honed, as well as
business knowledge. These traits and skills are critical to a company's long-term success. I will study
topics such as Ethical Decision Making, Strategic Thinking, Leadership And Management,
Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources, Operations Management, And Finance with the help
of industry professionals.
The reason which have influenced me to study here is that here the faculty and staff are committed to
giving students a well-rounded learning experience by using cutting-edge technology and engaging
them in real-world business scenarios and hands-on learning exercises.
Program Outcomes: After attaining my course, I will be able to

and solutions to business problems.

comprehensive program mix offers a wide range of specializations in every area of the business world.
I’ll connect with industry and work towards obtaining relevant and recognized industry certifications
and designations. Production Supervisors, Account Executives, Human Resources
Administrators, and other employment are available to BA in Business Administration with a major
in Management graduates.
Hence, after studying this diploma, I will come back to my home country India and will work with
Retail businesses, manufacturing companies, advertising agencies, communication agencies,
wholesalers and telemarketing companies.
