All India Association of Coal Executives (AIACE) and All India Coal Pensioners Association (AICPA) have intensified activities
for achieving demand of increase in pension of coal Pensioners. It is a fact that since start of pension under CMPS-1998, in
spite of provision of its review, no increase has been done in the past and many coal employees are getting pension lower
than Rs 500/- per month.

Sri P K Singh Rathor, Convenor, AIACE /AICPA told that on 1st April, 2022, AIACE/AICPA team led by Sri G Arjun got
appointment of Sri Venkatesh Netha Borlakunta, Honourable MP of Pedapalle Constituency. The team consisting of
members S/Sri G.Arjun, Sri G.Thirupati Rao, Sri B.Odelu and Sri Y.Kanakaswamy, met him in Mancherial Inspection Bunglow
and handed over a memorandum to him on CMPS-1998 Pension, which is supposed to be revised once in three years, but
has never been reviewed and revised.

He was further apprised of how PAC attached to Coal Ministry in its report no. 2244 presented in 2021 has observed several
irregularities in the implementation of scheme and management of funds. This report highlights the fact that restructuring
of pension scheme has been pending since long due to indecision at several levels. He patiently listened the pension issue
briefed by the team and outlined how he proposes to seek solution by bringing the matter in the knowledge of coal minister
Sri Pralhad Joshi Jee.

Sri Rathor further informed that delegations from local branches of AIACE/AICPA from coal field areas of coal bearing states
are meeting local Members of Parliament (MP) to apprise them about the hardship of about 5 lakh coal pensioners and
more than 50 lakhs of their family members.

ु होने के बाि से, इसकी समीक्षा के प्राविान के बावजिू , पवू स में कोई वृडि नहीं की िई है और कई कोयला कमसचाररयों को 500/- रुपये
से भी कम पेंशन डमल रहा है।

श्री पी के डसंह राठौर, संयोजक, एआईएसीई/एआईसीपीए ने बिाया डक 1 अप्रैल, 2022 को श्री जी अजसनु के नेित्ृ व में एआईएसीई/एआईसीपीए
िीम को पेिापल्ले डनवासचन क्षेत्र के माननीय सांसि श्री वेंकिेश नेथा बोरलाकंु िा भेंि करने की अनुमडि डमली। श्री जी. अजसनु , श्री जी. डथरुपडि
राव, श्री बी. ओिेलु और श्री वाई. कनकस्वामी की िीम ने उनसे मचं रे रयल डनरीक्षण भवन में मल
ु ाकाि की और उन्हें सीएमपीएस-1998 पेंशन
पर एक ज्ञापन सौंपा, डजसे प्रत्येक िीन साल में एक बार संशोडिि डकया जाना है, लेडकन कभी भी समीक्षा और संशोिन नहीं डकया िया है।

उन्हें आिे बिाया िया डक कोयला मत्रं ालय से कै से जडु े संसिीय लीक लेख सडमडि ने वर्स 2021 में प्रस्िुि अपनी ररपोिस संख्या में 2244 में
योजना के डियान्वयन और डनडियों के प्रबंिन में कई अडनयडमििाएं पाई हैं। यह ररपोिस इस िथ्य पर प्रकाश िालिी है डक कई स्िरों पर अडनणसय
के कारण पेंशन योजना का पनु िसठन लंबे समय से लंडबि है। उन्होंने िीम द्वारा िी िई पेंशन के मद्दु े को िैयपस वू सक सनु ा और बिाया डक कै से वह इस
मामले को कोयला मंत्री श्री प्रल्हाि जोशी जी के संज्ञान में लाकर समािान िलाशने का डवचार रखिे हैं।

श्री राठौर ने आिे बिाया डक कोयला सम्पिा वाले राज्यों के कोयला-क्षेत्रों से एआईएसीई/एआईसीपीए की स्थानीय शाखाओ ं के प्रडिडनडिमंिल
स्थानीय सासं िों (एमपी) से डमलेंिे और उन्हें लिभि 5 लाख कोयला पेंशनभोडियों और उनके पररवार के 50 लाख से अडिक आडश्रिों की
कडठनाइयों के बारे में अविि कराएिं े।
