Unit Equipment 2 ea. 1 qt. canteens w/covers M-9 tape (issued 1 roll per squad)
1 ea. canteen cup M-291 decon kit
It is the unit commander's responsibility to distribute such IFAK (Improved first aid kit) M-295 decon kit
items e.g. NVGs, CCOs, radios, GPS, throughout the unit e-tool w/ACU case M-40 series mask w/cannister and optical inserts
so that individual soldiers can carry such items in their black gloves w/inserts flyer's gloves (ICW or summer weight, whichever not in ruck)
rucksacks or A-Bags. Soldiers with smaller clothing and prescription meds x 30 days
body armor should have more room in their rucksacks and elbow pads/kneepads
A-Bags for such small unit equipment items. sunglasses/eyeglasses
ballistic spectacles
Larger items of unit equipment should be secured in a goggles
footlocker, duffel bag, etc. flyer's gloves (ICW or summer weight)
earplugs w/case
weapons cleaning kit
flashlight
sunblock/lip balm/insect repellant
pistol belt
