 introduction

We 3 are co-workers and together we live in the same

apartment in the city of Los Angeles, California, we are all from
Cali, Colombia. We traveled together for a new job opportunity,
we arrived approximately more than a month ago. In our time
here we have visited different places and our routine has
changed a lot.

Our day starts very early, we get up at 5:00
am to get ready to go to work, because we
start at 7:00 am, Juan Diego is always the
last to get up and it is time to get up. All
ready, we sit down to breakfast cereal,
bread and egg, with a good cup of coffee.
We almost always take turns making
breakfast, but most of the time I make it
myself.
We go to work and return at 5:00 pm,
where each one arrives and organizes
their room and together we do the rest
of the house. We all have lunch at work
and for dinner we order pizza or fast
food.
At night I always have the habit of reading
a book before going to sleep and talking
to my girlfriend, María is almost always
using her cell phone, and Juan Diego
stays up very late playing on the
computer.

On weekends we have the habit of going out to

visit fascinating places in the city of Los Angeles,
California.
We went to fantastic places, like Hollywood, where
we walked the walk of fame.
We were also at the Warner Brothers studios,
because the three of us are movie and television
lovers.
We went to the beaches of Malibu, very beautiful
and with a splendid climate
Finally we visited Disneyland, a place of magic and
fun, since you are never too old to do it.

Los Angeles is a very welcoming and

beautiful city, but we miss things about our
beautiful Cali, the branch of heaven, the love
and kindness of its people, a city that smells
of party and joy, where you can eat a good
shampú, and salsa dancing.
All this makes us miss our beautiful and
spectacular city and that despite the
distance we carry it in our hearts. Thank you
