Food Truck Paper
Glue/Tape

Objectives: The learners will be able to…

1. Design/build food trucks

2. Present food trucks to class

Introduction to the Lesson/Hook:

Hey everyone, welcome back! Today we’ll be finishing designing our food trucks and then build

them once done. I have colored pencils, markers, and scissors so you can cut out each piece of the

paper food truck template and create your own. Once we finish, we’ll each present our own!
Higher Order Thinking (HOT) Questions:
Develop an opinion why this activity might be beneficial for someone who actually owns a food

truck. Why might they want to make a miniature paper version? Would it be beneficial?

Interpret the look of your food truck and determine a target market. What type of people do you

think would mostly make up your consumer base based off how your truck looks and the food you sell?

Content to be presented in lesson:

Introduction

*HOTQ1*

Alright well I’ll give you guys most of the class to work on these. I’ll put on some music and get

out the necessary supplies, let’s get to work and have some fun!

*Students work on food trucks*

*HOTQ2*

Okay now let’s get settled down and we’ll present our food trucks. I want you all to either stand

up at your desk and show your truck or come to the front to do so. State the name of your truck, the

food you’ll sell, and why you designed it how you did.

intrigued if not excited by that. Have a good week everyone!
