Eligibility
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior.
No restrictions regarding race, religion, national origin, sex, or physical disability.

Essay
Please type your essay on a separate sheet of paper and limit it to 1 page
Choice of 3 Topics
1. What is your objective in seeking higher education?
2. What do you hope to contribute to the world after you have earned your degree or certificate?
3. Describe how an event in your life has caused a significant impact on your thinking about plans for your future?

REQUIREMENTS - Incomplete Applications will be Disqualified

Applicants must submit a completed application along with the following (check each requirement to be sure that all
necessary information is submitted):
Essay
One letter of reference from a teacher, school counselor, coach, or principal (must be identified)
One letter of reference from an employer or family friend (must be identified)
Family members and peers are excluded
High School Transcript and Grade Point Average
Adherence to the deadline date for application entry

Evaluation Criteria
Selection criteria are based on Essay Content, Leadership Involvement at school and in the community, employment information,
and application completion.
