Es de suma importancia en este proceso de aprendizaje, conocer muy bien los tratados de

libre de comercio que se tienen en un país, antes de iniciar cualquier operación de

importación y/o exportación.

Para desarrollar esta evidencia es importante que lea y analice previamente el material de

 1. Investigue sobre los tratados de libre comercio que Colombia tiene vigentes con

los Estados Unidos.

Regarding access to the US market, more than 280 classes of products have entered

between the years 2102 and 2017, in which they are as medicines, tubes, mushrooms, tires,

corn, candy and other more products. In which they have had a wide growth in exports. It

not only brought stability in tariff matters, but also in the different sectors of the economy,

to compete with other markets in the United States.

In the course of 2018, it had an increase in non-mining energy goods by 8%, compared to

2017, you can find coffee without roasting, coffee without decaffeination. Flowers for 13%,

fresh roses for 6%.

In addition to attracting new investments, it has generated more security and stability,

compared to people who have made investments in the United States.

During the process of free trade agreement, according to the report of the Banco de la

Republic for a value of USD 13,908.5 million dollars. In the course of 2017, it took into

account in Colombia 13 current trade agreements, which included bilateral, multilateral or

regional blocs, but at that time Colombia had had in all Latin American integration

processes such as the Free Trade Area of the Americas and the Andean Community of

Nations. In which it allows to bring enormous and immediate results for the economy of the

countries.

Taking into account the trade balance, it has brought many consequences at the time of the

entry of free trade between Colombia and the United States in 2012, they had presented

many falls in exports from Colombia to the United States, almost by 1%, However, in

2015, it had had a 55% drop.

Advantages of the Free Trade Agreement.

It is a great advantage that large entrepreneurs can sell their products or services that they

want to carry out with the United States, as long as you have the best export conditions,

without the need to pay taxes or duties.

It is a great advantage that allows the two countries that have their agreements, in order to

also be able to increase their economy and the broader consumer market, but instead when

we talk about the national market there are many market limitations.

Disadvantages of the Free Trade Agreement.

When talking about the emerging economy, in which they lose, according to what the

experts had commented, it is a problem that exists among the countries that are developed,

and instead the emerging ones are not being carried out based on the differences that they

exist in the moment.

The elimination of international trade tariff barriers, in the field of industries, cannot be

maintained by the different powers of the other market. The free trade agreement is more

convenient for large companies that have enough resources to carry out negotiations, but

instead entrepreneurs or small companies that have very few resources, the free trade

agreement is not very viable.
