Sounds like the crazy Japanese jazz sound track you get on Gran Turismo. No pictures of text.

It was much more of a challenge than I originally thought, but I had a LOT of fun doing it! Thanks for enjoying it^

Thank you! I was actually inspired by Impressions for the B section. The little bit of modal Jazz and free improv in the
melody is taken from there^^

I’ve got to save this post because now I kinda have to try something like this myself! Thought of adding min/maj7
chords to this as well since they also are technically maj7th chords.

If you build a bassline with a minor scale, and harmonise it with major 7ths, all of those chords work with the 2nd
scale degree. The reverse is true if you want to harmonise with minor 7th chords. I wonder if such a system works for
majmin 7 chords

They really do! And anchoring it with a simple diatonic melody helps a lot

Yeah I'm gonna say to keep going with this. The fast sections will be hard to develop. Make it painful! We can take it!
Keep bashing this until it bleeds miniature versions of itself.

All of these sounds come from VSTs in FLStudio actually. Other than the sax, they sound pretty believable. Thanks for
listening!
