TASKS/ACTIVITIES
Resources
Teacher will introduce for them 3D shapes and their names, start showing them
& Time
the 3D shapes and ask if anyone know what is the name of the shape, and what
letter does it start with, after teaching them 3D shapes. Teacher will show them a
PowerPoint about 3D shapes and play an online game with them about 3D
shapes, matching and sorting. After teaching them 3D shapes I’ll let them count
from 1-30 and ask if they know counting backward, play for them a song to help
them. After that teacher will start giving them the problem about how to help the
gingerbread man to cross the river teacher will ask them and write their ideas in
the board.

Students will have different kind of
materials to help them to build a
pyramid using papers, tissue box,
scissors and glue

Activity 2:

Students will have sticks, tape,

marshmallow to build 3D shapes as
much as they can.

Activity 3 (science):

Students will have stick, papers,

boxes, pencil, and colours to create a
bridge or a box to help the ginger
bread men to cross the river.

Activity 4:

Sorting by shapes, they will have a

paper with the name and the shape
and randomly pictures to sort it by
shapes.

Activity 5:

Order number using the cover of the

bottle with the number on it. They
will order it in a box that have a green
sand.

Activity 6:

They will have to do a sequence by

the 3d shapes after that they will

shapes that they can design it.

Differentiation activities (Support)

They will have 3D shapes (wood) to let them build anything they want.

Description
On Thursday I taught a lesson about 3D shapes, my goal in the lesson to let the students know the 3D shapes and
where can we see 3D shapes in our life.
First I show them a small powerpoint that have 3D shapes and pictures that we can see in our life. Some students were
able to know it, for the sphere they said ball and for the cube they said box, I had real objects and I show them. After
finishing showing them 3d shapes I let them count from 1-30 forward and backward they found it little hard for them
on counting backward I play for them a song for counting.

After that I re asked them about 3D shapes using the shapes and all the students had more energy after their break they
were not listing and I told them if you don’t listen I’ll put your name in yellow and if you don’t stop talking I will stop
teaching they started listing and get collaborate with me. After I start explaining each centre, the first centre they will
have to create a pyramid using papers, second activity they will have to create any 3D shapes they want use stick,
marshmallow’s, third centre they will have to do sequence patterns AB using 2D shapes, fourth activity they will have
the cover of the bottles that have numbers on and they have to put in order, sixth centre they will have to create
anything they want using 3D shapes(woods), last centre they will have like a paper where it have cube, cone and
pyramid shape they have to glue the pictures that looks like it on the cubes. Last centre they had options to choose what
shape they want to design or colours, they had a box, birthday cap, and balls they have to colour it, cut papers and paste
it if they want too. Once I started to get them to their centres it started to be so crowd and everyone is talking and
moving, i put some of the names on yellow and some on red. Some of the students they were changing their centres
and talking to their friends I asked them to get back to their places they kept quite for couple of minutes and they get
back to moving and talking I told them to clean up and get back to their seats and I gave them a small papers to write
or draw what they did in their centres and still they are moving and talking I stopped them and get them to a small
circle so I can read for them the story they were collaborating with me and suddenly they started to move and walk I
stopped the lesson and put all the students on red and they get quite but I didn’t had time to finish the story for them.
On this day I got so sad because they were no listing and they kept playing all around I tried all the ways to keep them

Feelings
Some of the students were moving around and talking I had to put them on red so that they don’t repeat
this action next time.
Some were listing but their friends were talking too much and moving so they couldn’t focus

Evaluation
On this day I got so sad because they were no listing and they kept playing all around I tried all the ways to keep
them.
Analysis
The students did well in creating 3D shapes by using marshmallow and they were happy because they were
able to use real life things

Conclusion
It’s better If I had a good behaviors in the class because even when I used the behaviorism chart they were
not listing at all so next time I will have more creative activity to get busy with.
Action plan
 Use creative activity to enhance students’ creativity
 Variety of ways to teach the students this lesson.
 Appropriate learning environment.
