In the last 200 years public transport in the UK
has been a mix of fast improvements and slow
improvements from the very first bus which
was made in the late 1830s to the first train in
1804 to trains and buses now being built in
2022. The technological side of how transport is
built has been a major improvement, we have
better resources to make them a lot faster and
better quality.

However, there are also some reasons why still

time, also the amount of paper being wasted
on printing tickets is an immense amount and
many people chuck the tickets on the floor
when they don’t need them anymore.

First interview GET B ROLL OF MY MUM USES TRANSPORT TO

My first interview is with My mum she is a GET TO WORK IN LONDON TO INTORUDCE THE
regular commuter like me and commutes to INTERVIEW
London most days where she experiences some
sort of delay most days, she firstly talked about DO THE INTERVIEW ON THE TRAIN
how her travel goes and how long it should
normally take her to get to London and how
long it took her to get there. She also touches
bases on how local councils and government
should be investing more fundings into
transport in the UK to make it easier experience
for the general public

that was interesting to listen to I wanted to
further talk about how much funding the
government is providing for public transport.
The government have cut back on almost £400

government. Trains in London should be

before covid this wasn’t happened which led to PEOPLE GETTING ON TUBES
manufacturing problems and tube lines going
down. And covid also had a massive affect on THE AREA SURROUNDING THE TUBES
this not happening as well.

someone who is in that line of work

be happening, and many people of colour are
more dependent on using transport show in
stats but find they are treated the worst almost
a quarter of young people of colour face
harassment when on a bus.

how since they were young it has change but
also said how things still need to improve

I then also did a vox pot style of interviews

with several my friends who use public

CHARLIE, WILL, EMILY, LOTTIE, CHARLOTTE,
KIRESTON, DANI)
