1. Describe performance-based training.

a. It is a process in which the KPI (Key performance indicators) are measured of


the employees and then accordingly it helps the organization to focus on the
areas which are lacking below average and help to increase the performance
of the employees.
2. Explain the turnover rate in HR.
a. Turnover rate is defined as the percentage of employees leaving a
company within a particular period of time.
Turnover rate = employees left during an interval/employee at the
beginning of that interval
3. Give me two examples of training obstacles for an organization
a. First, it could be due to the hectic schedule of the employees, who are going
to be trained.
b. Second, the lack of engagement from the employee’s side. They would be
careless while doing training.
4. Explain the warm body syndrome in recruitment and selection.
a. It is recruitment in which an employee is hired who is physically present
there, but not engaged with the process. The employee either is not
interested or can’t do it.
5. What is the purpose of position analysis?
a. It is there to define the responsibilities and duties of a position in order to
determine whether the position is correctly measured or not as compared to
others.

a. It is referred to as simplifying complex problems into small-small manageable
tasks so that they can be done efficiently.

a. They use performance standards for various reasons:

iii. Helping to guide in training and development

a. It is a sentence that uses some special terms or expressions used by
professionals which is not easy to understand by others.

a. It is necessary because through this employee can understand the motive of
the particular training and also explain why is it useful to the organization to
achieve its goals.

a. It addresses the new joiners in the organization and helps them to know
better about the organization
