Section 1 Release Notes

Introduction
This document represents the release notes for IndustrialIT 800xA for Melody
functionality of System Version 5.0 SP1. The functionality is part of the IndustrialIT
System 800xA and establishes the connectivity between IndustrialIT 800xA Melody
and 800xA Operator Workplace.
This document provides a brief overview on functionality. It lists the problems that
existed in the previous version or service pack that were fixed and corrected in this
release. It also enumerates known problems encountered in the final testing of this
product release and identifies workarounds that help overcome the problem. The
document contains additional notes that may be valuable to customers and service
personnel working with the product. It replaces the existing release notes for the
prior release and is included on the product CD.
Fixed and Known Problems are divided into functional categories:
• Installation.
• Administration.
• Configuration.
• Operational.
• Instruction Manual Changes.
