Workaround: There are several ways to mitigate
the potential for high CPU load from the PNSM
OPC server:
• Run the PNSM OPC server on its own
Connectivity Server node.
• Split the number of PNSM assets to run on
more than one Connectivity Server node. To
do so:
1. Arrange the PNSM assets in a directory
structure.
2. Add an IT OPC Server aspect to each level
of the directory.
3. Assign a different node to each.
• Use the light asset types (as opposed to the
heavier full asset types).

condition means that detailed alarm information
during normal operation is lost.
