Introduction
This document represents the release notes for PC, Network and Software
Monitoring Version 5.0 Service Pack 1. It provides a brief overview on functionality
and lists the problems that existed in the previous version or service pack that were
fixed and corrected in this release. It also enumerates known problems encountered
in the final testing of this product release and identifies workarounds that help
overcome the problem. It contains additional notes that may be valuable to
customers and service personnel working with the product. It replaces the existing
release notes for the prior release and is included on the product CD.

If Basic Computer Monitoring was Workaround:
configured in System Version 3.1, Basic 1. Under:
Computer Monitoring will not be correctly
Control Structure > IT Server
upgraded to System Version 5.0 SP1.
select the Basic Computer Monitoring object and
800xAPNS-MS-4100-019 delete it. Answer Yes to deleting the children also.
2. Use the Basic Computer Monitoring
Configuration Tool to recreate them.
The second and subsequent OPC DA Clarification: This will occur if more than one OPC
clients attaching to the PNSM OPC DA Service Provider under the OpcDA_Connector in
Server may not be able to establish items the Service Structure references the same PNSM
correctly. Items are returned with bad OPC Server. This issue does not occur with normal
quality. usage in the 800xA System.
