Introduction
This document represents the release notes for Industrial IT ™ 800xA - Control I/O
800xA for TRIO/Genius System Version 5.0 SP1 software. This instruction
includes:
• A brief overview of new and modified functionality since the last release.
• A listing of problems fixed since the last release (SV 5.0) that are fixed by this
release (SV5.0 SP1).
• A listing of known problems that exist after final testing with workarounds that
help overcome the problem.
The document contains additional notes that may be valuable to customers and
service personnel working with the product. It replaces release notes for prior
releases and is included on the product media.

Requirements
800xA for TRIO/Genius requires the following:
• 800xA System with Control Builder M professional.
• CI862 at firmware level 3.0.0 or higher.
• CI862 FPGA version 1.2 or higher.
800xA for TRIO/Genius can consist of:
• Up to four CI862 Interface modules to a AC800M controller.
• Up to 30 TRIO blocks to a CI862 field bus.
• The maximum I/O with TRIO in an AC800M is 1000 I/O points.

CI862 redundant configurations are not supported and are not to be used with
this release.

• The TRIO hardware library name is now CI862TRIOHWLib.

Table 1 lists the major system or product configuration issues that have been
corrected since the previous version or service pack. A brief description of the
correction has also been given.
