1 This FAQ addresses several RTO queries mostly applicable for C-Ops India teams. Consult with your L6+
2 leader on any business specific scenario or guidance.
3 Approach
5 We are embracing a hybrid working model for C-Ops India focusing on the flexibility needs of our
6 employees as well as the need to collaborate as a team for in-person interactions and tasks. We will start
7 this transition of returning to office from 16th May and expect to cover most of our employees by the 15th
8 of July 2022. As mentioned previously, we will continue to support specific flexibility needs of our
9 employees.
10 Is the current approach in line with the Amazon and WW C-Ops teams?
11 RTO model is decided at Individual teams level. India’s team approach to RTO is global, WW C-Ops
12 approach is to operate in a Hybrid model, taking into consideration the local flexibility needs, which are
13 being devises locally at India level.
15 Hybrid model is a combination of WFH and office keeping in mind the flexible needs of our employees
16 Is there a capping on the minimum and maximum number of days for WFH and WFO?
17 Employees are expected to WFO a minimum of two days a week. Number of days WFO could be extended
18 in case of business needs (Team meetings/Trainings/Reviews etc.). We do not anticipate this number
19 going up unless for special circumstances described here. The 2 days a week could be an average and we
20 are setting up a focused team to come up with recommendations on how we can have a more flexible
21 roster.
22 Can employee work eight days from office and then return back to my home location for the rest of the
23 month?
24 Working eight consecutive days from office may be possible once we confirm the flexible roster. However,
25 working from home will be permitted for the rest of the month only if you live in a commuting distance
26 from the base location where you can come to office (if needed) within a day’s notice. Please work with
27 you manager and respective L6+ leader.

40 To be successful in this new approach, it requires flexibility and we want to ensure teammates can
41 collaborate in-person easily without having to fly or needing hotel accommodations. With this in mind,
42 we expect most employees to live close enough to their assigned office location that they can easily travel
43 to the office for a meeting within a day’s notice.

45 What if employee was hired during the pandemic and was assigned to a location, but have not yet been
46 able to move there?
47 Employee is expected to work with their manager to relocate to their assigned location. If employee is no
48 longer able to relocate, they will need to follow the same office workplace exception process noted below.
