Drawing & Painting Competition

Guidelines:

1. The competition is open to all enrolled students of the ZSNHS-SPA Campus for School
Year 2021 – 2022.
2. Each grade level shall provide three (3) contestants.
3. The competition is divided into two categories – “DRAWING CONTEST” for the Grade
7 & Grade 8, and “PAINTING CONTEST” for the Grade 9 and Grade 10 students.
4. Participants must provide their own materials.

For Grade 7 & 8 For Grade 9 & 10

- pencil or marker - oil, watercolor, or acrylic paints
- oil pastel, crayons, or colored pencils - paintbrushes
- Eraser - paint containers / cleaning materials
- 1/4 illustration board - ½ illustration board

5. The subject of the painting will be based on the National Arts Month’s theme - “Sining ng
Pag-Asa.”
6. Submission of entry must be on or before February 18, 2022 not later than 5:00 p.m.
7. The entry can be submitted in a flash drive at ZSNHS Hall of Excellence just see Mr. Alford
Roy D. Dela Cruz or you can email your entry at alfordroy.delacruz@deped.gov.ph with a
file name following this format ( GradeLevel&Section_FamilyName_FirstName).
8. The decision of the BOARD OF JUDGES is final, unappealable and irrevocable.

Criteria for judging:

Artistic Merit - 30%
Interpretation of the Theme - 30%
Difficulty - 20%
Originality - 20%
Total - 100%
